But I'm Still Here!

Now traveling the building alone, Gregory took it slow. He headed down the halls, until he came to a table with some cans piled up on it, blocking the hall. Who would put this here?
But it seemed as if luck was on his side, because he noticed two doors on either side of the table with the same sign. He could go around the blockade through here!

He opened the door, but froze. There, at the far end of the room, was an animatronic.

It's Chica! What was she doing here? He suddenly glanced over at the cans. Maybe I can distract her with something.

And so he went to the table, knocking the cans off of it. Chica gave a chicken-like call of surprise, and Gregory hurriedly ducked into the room as she appeared out the other side. He wasn't sure if she would be as kind to him as Freddy, or if she'd tell Vanessa he was there.

He kept himself low to quiet his footsteps, making for the other door. He pushed it open quietly, peering around the frame. Chica was standing by the table, looking around.
"This area is off limits!" She called, as if to taunt anyone who may have been hiding.

Gregory made for the nearest door while still going quietly. The door lead to a storage room. Maybe he'd be safe from Chica now.

He continued quietly down the hall, turning and turning until he came into a strange new place. It looked like a tunnel of pipes leading somewhere. Maybe this was the way?

He began to head down this way, but a sudden noise made him spin around. Heavy footsteps. And then a voice said, "There you are!" The voice was hefty and rough; Gregory knew who it was before he appeared.

Monty the alligator broke down the weak chainlink fence gate separating them, and began laughing in a horribly evil way.

Eyes wide, Gregory spun around and took off running down the pipe hall. He didn't know how fast Monty could run, but he didn't dwell on it. He just ran, as fast as he could, heart racing.
He could hear Monty chasing after him.

As he reached the end of the hall, he noticed Roxy, peering through the second fence gate as she said, "Are you lost?"

Gregory kept running, but he was getting exhausted. He stopped for a few short seconds to catch his breath, all while imagining Monty's huge jaws snapping down on him.

He pushed his way through the doors ahead, to be greeted with Chica shoving aside some boxes, calling, "Lost boy over here!"

Noticing the stairs, Gregory launched himself up them, heart racing and gasping for every breath he could get.

He finally reached the top of the stairs, feeling as if his legs were burning and lungs exploding. He barely saw the security office for a second, before he shot inside, slamming his hand on the button to close the door.

He leaned against the wall, panting and exhausted. He couldn't believe it. Why were they chasing him like that? Now he knew he had to avoid them.

A few moments later, Freddy's voice came over the Fazwatch.
"Well done, Gregory. You found a security office. You should be quite safe here. The doors were designed to keep our highly-trained security staff safe in the event of an emergency," he paused, then continued, sounding just a tad uncertain, "As long as the doors stay closed, which they will, as long as there is ample power..."
