Gregory thought for a while, before slowly speaking.
"Well... I uhm... I was in the Monty Golf catwalks and Monty was chasing me around. I sorta pressed a button which made some big bucket fall on him, and the catwalk section he was standing on collapsed. He fell all the way down."
Freddy was looking more and more concerned as Gregory explained. "Is he okay?"
Gregory blinked. He knew this part was coming. "Well I mean his claws are gone, and he sorta... Broke in half-"
"He what?!"
Gregory was startled by the obvious fear in Freddy's voice.
"Y-yeah he lost his lower half when he fell..." Gregory trailed off, not meeting Freddy's gaze. He was sure now Freddy would be upset with him. Right?
But then suddenly, Freddy lifted his chin up with his new claw, looking into Gregory's eyes.
"Gregory. It is unfortunate that Monty sustained such damage. But he can be repaired. It will take some time, but he will be okay after some maintenance. I thank you for being honest with me."
Gregory smiled just a little, as a wave of relief washed over him. "Right. You're welcome!"
