Vox's POV
At last, I have made it to the human world. I don't quite have an idea of where I am, so maybe I'll just roam around until something calls to me. The street I seem to be walking on is bustling with civilians at this point in time. I began to walk down the street and take note of the civilians and their behaviors. All of it is so fascinating to me. The noises of their conversations as well makes the street so much livelier. I managed to let out a small smile.
Where I'm from, well, the "streets" aren't as lively in the way that this street is at this point in time. They usually contain the monsters of hell walking around, getting into fights, selling odd devices to be used on one another or themselves, participating in extreme activities that would end in nothing but a fiery death, just to name a few of the things that go on in Hell.
Up in that giant, dark castle in the hellish sky lived the king of Hell. He watches down on everyone, witnessing the chaos that he's created. I lived on my own, small abode whilst I tried to avoid the madness. I'm a man of tranquility, wishing to remain untroubled by anybody.
I made a decision to begin to distance myself more and more from Hell itself. I wished for a life of serenity, and I wasn't going to get that if I remained where I was. So, I ultimately decided to ascend upon the mortal realm and begin a new life here.
...And here I was, still wandering upon this street until a delicious food stall called out to me. Taking a look at their offerings from afar, I made my way towards the stall and took a seat next to this man wearing a fox hat, dressed head to toe in such amazing fashion, and he even wore glasses.
He took notice of my staring and smiled as I began to divert my attention away from him to have my order taken. It was at that moment that I realized; I don't have any money on me. The man next to me took notice of this as well and piped up, "No worries, his order is on me."
He stood up from his seat and went over to the cashier to pay for my meal. I once again took this chance to admire his outfit whilst he was standing up. His eyes were a bright blue that you could see through his glasses. He truly was remarkable.
I began to speak to him as he sat back down. "You didn't have to do that, you know." He looked at me and laughed. His laugh was adorable. "I didn't mind, besides, you looked like you forgot something to begin with," he said, taking his drink and sipping it. I notice that he sounds like a fellow Brit, which made conversing with him a bit easier. "Well, thank you for that. You're very kind," I said, smiling. He nodded and began to turn away when he asked me a question.
"You're not from here, are you?" he asked, turning back towards me. I took my drink from the counter and sat it in front of me. "Alas, no I am not," I said. But the real question is, if I told him my original whereabouts, would he believe me? He studies me for a few moments. "Well, just where are you from, sir?" he asked me.
"Ah, have you ever heard of the underworld?" I ask him. "You mean Hell? If so, then yeah," he says. Well, no use turning back now. "Then that is where I am from," I say, taking a sip of my drink. He then nods. "I understand, no worries, sir," he says, smiling at me. Just at that moment, both of our orders come in and we focus on eating.
We had just finished and got up as the man took his hat, put it on, and began to walk away. Before he got any further, I managed to stop him. "Hey...just what is your name?" I ask. He smiles. "Mysta, Mysta Rias, and what about you?" Mysta asked.
"Vox, Vox Akuma," I say.
