The fog lingers over the moon as Hannah walks out the door with an earbud in, listening to "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot. After ten minutes, she turns on the road and continues walking, the streetlights turning on and the shifting of the trees overhead. She picks up her phone to change the song, and in the reflection of her phone, she sees headlights. She stops and turns to make out a light gray van with a broken windshield; there is a also a dent in the side of the van. It looks as though another car door had hit it. She picks up her pace as the car sped up to match hers. He pulls up beside her and pulls down his window, and she sees he is wearing a dark shirt with a ball cap.
"You lost, baby girl?"
Hannah decides to not answer the question until he tries to ask another question.
"Where you headed, baby girl? You need a ride?"
"No thanks. I'm good."
When he starts to ask too many questions, she starts to get a cold sweat. She tries to pick up her pace but he won't leave her alone. When she realizes that he is following her, she starts to jog lightly.
"Where do you think you're going, beautiful??" He shouts after her.
Hannah speeds up a little to get away from him. He has no hesitation but to keep trying to talk to her.
"My boyfriend is around the corner." Hannah says.
"Well, I'll follow you to make sure he is there."
Hannah freezes in her tracks and starts to panic because she knows that her boyfriend isn't there.
"What? Feel like he won't be there?" He smirks.
Hannah stays silent and just starts walking away to ignore what he had said to her. At this point, Hannah is feeling uncomfortable.
"Do you live around here?" He asks.
"I'm visiting my mom for the weekend."
"You should invite me over some time. Want my number?"
"Ummm, no thanks. I'm good." Hannah responds, quickly looking away.
Hannah starts to run and tries to get away from the man, but he gets out of the van on foot, wearing baggy pants, and starts to chase after her. She looks back at the man to realize he looks in his 30's. As she runs, she trips over a rock and falls and sprains her ankle. She hits her head when she fell and she hears ringing. As the ringing fades silent, she can hear the footsteps of the man coming toward her. She blacks out and the man puts her in the van, and that's the last they hear from Hannah.

Hannah went on the "missing person's" list and was never found again. A year later, he arrived home, walking to the door and taking the stairs to the cold, dark, damp basement. Then he flicks on the light and he says...
"I'm home, dear. Did you miss me?"
