𝐴 𝐶𝑜𝑢𝑝𝑙𝑒 𝑜𝑓 𝑆𝑡𝑎𝑟𝑠 (𝑎 𝐻𝑎𝑛𝑎𝑘𝑜 𝑥 𝑌𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑖𝑟𝑜 𝑓𝑎𝑛𝑓𝑖𝑐)

Chap. 1 ~ A Time of Confession

Y̲a̲s̲h̲i̲r̲o̲'s̲ P̲O̲V̲

"Another start of another school day, and to another day of cleaning the bathroom.." I thought as I was walking to first block. At least I wouldn't have to clean for a while! As I sat down and got my notebooks out, one of them had a letter fall out and land on the floor. I soon picked it up and opened it, starting to read it.

"Yahiro, meet me at the rooftop after school today. Also, your free of bathroom cleaning duty today! - Hanako-Kun"
"Yesss! I'm free of cleaning today!"  I thought exitedly. But before I could celebrate a bit more, my teacher stopped me. "Yashiro? Would you mind reading that note out to the class?" I looked up at him and soon said "A-ah!- sorry Sensei!"
I didn't want to say how I clean the bathroom after school and how I'm friends with a ghost. My teacher nodded and began class. I started to take the notes and just continue with my day. The next minute, I felt a cold hand touch my shoulder. It got me startled and I jumped a bit. I turned to see Hanako-Kun, my ghost friend, smiling as he put his head on my shoulder. "Hellooo Yashiroo! Get the letter?"

I couldn't talk so I had to write down what I wanted to say. "Yes, I got it, but why are you here? I thought I banned you from doing this!" Hanako-Kun took a small minute to read what I wrote before responding back to me.
"I just wanted to check in! Like to make sure you weren't taken! Can't I do thatt?" He said in a sort of whiney voice. "Fine, I guess you can check in. But don't scare me like that next time!"
I waited for him to respond, also writing more notes down. Hanako-Kun peeked his head off my shoulder to read what I wrote. "Fine fine," he agreed, "But can I stay for the rest of class?" I had to think about that question. If I let him stay, he would nag me until class was over, if I didn't, he would leave one of his orbs with me, I think it was Haku-Joudai? Either way, he would be watching me.

I finally gave in, nodding in agreement. Hanako-Kun smiled and sat on the window sill next to me. "Welll.. Whatcha learning about?" Hanako-Kun asked, looking into my notes. I whispered back,"Just biology, maybe you can take notes for your donut brain."
Hanako-Kun looked a bit shocked at the donut comment I made. "Heyy!" I giggled at his reaction, continuing to take notes. Hanako-Kun stayed quiet for a while as he started to braid some of my hair. I didn't mind it and I kept making notes until the end of class.

~ Time skip til the end of school ~

"Finallyyy! The end of school todayy!" I said exitedly to my best friend, Aoi.
"Yeah! But I heard no rumors today sadly, I'll try tomorrow to tell you though!" Aoi looked at me and smiled as I smiled back to her. "Alright Aoi-Chan!! Cya tomorrow!" I said as Aoi was walking out of the school, waving at me. Now I had to go to the roof. Hanako-Kun said he want me to meet him there after school.

I soon started walking up a staircase that led me to the rooftop. A few minutes later, I finally got up to the rooftop. "Hanako-Kunnn? I'm here!! Why did I need to come??!" I shouted while I was looking around for Hanako-Kun. A few seconds later, he was right in front of me, he also scared me a bit as he just appeared in front of me. I jumped up and almost fell back, but I caught myself, Hanako-Kun also tried to catch me by holding my hands and pulling me up, also giggling. "Sorry! I just wanted to see your adorable face scared!~" I blushed a bit at the fact Hanako-Kun called me adorable, I wasn't used to it yet. "S-shut up-!!" Hanako-Kun giggled and smiled at me. "I suppose your wondering why I wanted to meet you here?"

I nodded, it was exactly what I was thinking.
"Ahh, I knew it!!" Hanako-Kun smiled before he grabbed my hands. "Yashiro, I love you. And I mean I actually like you. Your so easy to get flustered and I love that about you. And also your daikon legs.." Hanako-Kun mumbled that last part, I heard it still and flicked his forehead. But seriously, my mind was racing!! Hanako-Kun likes me!? Since when did he like me?! I was too stunned to even move or speak! Hanako-Kun leaned closer to me for a kiss on the cheek. I thought this was really a dream!

Soon enough, my whole face was a bright red, I smiled slightly at the fact a boy actually liked me! Hanako-Kun kissed me on the cheek, then looking at me again, saying "well my dear assistant, what do you think? Will you be my girlfriend?"

I finally moved after he asked that question, his girlfriend!? There's no way! This totally has to be a dream! I looked at Hanako-Kun with a bright red face, slightly smiling. "Y-yes! I can be your girlfriend!" I said the words happily. Hanako-Kun smiled brightly "Really!? Thank you so much Yashiro!!" Hanako-Kun kissed my forehead.
I felt like I could pass out from all of my blushing right now! A few seconds later, Hanako-Kun started to lean in for a kiss, on the lips too! I started to lean in towards him, a few seconds later, our lips touched and we kissed!! I pulled back right after, I was smiling and I bet I got a bit more red- I just had my first kiss! I had to get my homework done, so I stayed with Hanako-Kun and did my homework with him. Around an hour later, I finally finished it and got ready to leave. Hanako-Kun didn't want me to go, he even asked if I could sleep at the school.

"I can't sleep here Hanako-Kun- I gotta go home and sleep there." I said back to him. "Fineeee.." Hanako-Kun said in a whiney tone. I smiled and gave him a goodbye hug, he hugged me back pretty tight. "You know I'm coming back here tomorrow! I promise!"
Hanako-Kun nodded, finally letting me go. I waved at him as I walked out of Kamome Gakuen. "Bye Hanako-Kunnn!" I started walking back home after that, thoughts of my first boyfriend, Hanako-Kun, and my first kiss.
