chapter five

You struggled to wake up as you couldn't tell if your eyes were open or closed, it was pitch black. A light suddenly blared into your eyes, completely blinding you; your attempts to move the light out of your face were limited as you were strapped by ropes on a chair.

"Damn Sanzu you don't want to blind her completely!" A concerned voice echoed throughout the room, all you could hear was shifting in the background. The light flickered off, leaving you staring right in front of you, struggling in the binds.

The light flashed on yet again and Kokonoi was centimeters from your face, you could feel his breath tickle your face. "She seems fine, you're lucky that she didn't overdose. Next time check what you inject people with." He muttered, pointing a finger at the shadows, the same man who injected a substance into you came out of the shadows. "Why are we dealing with this again, where is Ran and Rindo? This is their problem after all." Sanzu sighed, walking towards the two of you.

"The Haitani brothers are off doing a last minute mission. I tried to convince Kakucho to take care of her but he refused, couldn't even bribe the son of a bitch." Kokonoi sighed, gazing upon you; he looked so dreamy, everything about him you adored. Sanzu just nodded, standing with a gun in his head. "Kakucho..?" You whimpered, he was ever so nice to you when you went on a rampage in Tenjiku, causing a terrible conflict. Kokonoi ignored your gibbers and left the room with Sanzu, you tried calling out for them but they ignored you.

It felt like hours before that steel door opened, you were barley conscious at the time, dehydration was getting the best of you. You could barely move your lips, they felt like a desert. The sound of the door suddenly swinging opened echoed through the room, footsteps got louder and louder as you could barely make out a person. You closed your eyes in exhaustion, a hand suddenly brought your head up, checking your pulse.

You felt them press a glass to your lips and you scurried to gulp it down, letting some droplets flow down your face. "Slow down, this is the only glass I could find." The voice murmured, your eyes shot open as the person took a step back from you. "Kakucho..?" You grumbled, trying to move but you were still tightly roped to the chair. "Don't talk, somebody could hear you. The Haitani brothers went to do some business, they will be back in a hour or so. Prepare yourself, hopefully they will go easy on you." Kakucho walked out of the room after warning you about them.

Chances are they will torture me, I went ballistic on the plane and wasn't listening. What if they kill me? My friends, will they miss me? I hope they are worried about me. You fell asleep fairly after, crying about life and your friends. You suddenly felt a shiver run down your spine and you shot your eyes open just to be face to face with Rindo holding a gun towards you. He quickly hid it behind his back, smiling at you calmly as he motioned Ran to back him up.

"Glad to see you awake, did you sleep well?" His forced smile was irritating you, a idea struck your mind, make Rindo furious. "What the fuck was that? You gonna shoot me? If you are do it now bitch!" You screamed in his face, spitting all over him, you could hear him squeezing the gun, he probably didn't have the order to kill you. "Rindo, you should go, looks like she's getting the best of you." Ran put a hand on Rindo's shoulder and stared at you, making you gulp. Rindo got up and left, toying with the gun on the way out.

Ran took the restraints off of you and dragged you onto the floor, stepping on your head with his foot. "Since you're going to be my little toy, I should at least beat the rules into you. I think that will make it easier for the both of us, I won't have to kill you and you won't have to suffer."

His words shivered down your throat as you felt his shoe dig into your skin.
