"Would you like to come with me at the training grounds?" The assasin asked her friend who's taking a stroll around the empire.

"And why would I come with you?" the woman raised her eyebrows at Fanny.

"Well, I'd like you to meet my friends in the Lightborn Squad aside from my brother, ya 'know?"

"No."

"Pleaseee Y/N? I assure you they aren't bad people, just come with me, pretty pleasee???" Fanny pleaded at her friend with puppy eyes.

Of course, Y/N is pretty much vulnerable to Fanny's puppy eyes. I mean, who can resist that?

"Sigh. Fine, but you'll buy me food later, Fanny," The girl agreed reluctantly.

To be honest, Y/N isn't the one to socialize with people, and with Fanny dragging her to meet her friends kinda makes her feel nervous.

Oh my, Y/N is in for a treat.

"Mhm! In fact, we're already hereee~!" the assassin chimed in a sing-song manner.

"Oh good cause I-uhhhh..." Y/N didn't continue what she said because she saw the Lightborn Squad - right in front of her.

"G-greetings, Lightborn Squad! I'm, uh, Y/N. Yeah, Y/N L/N..."

"Hey, hey! So you're Y/N? I'm Harith, nice to meet 'ya! From the looks of it we're gonna be good friends!" the leonin beamed at her

"Oh so my sister introduced you to the rest of the squad? You're gonna like it here!" Tigreal chimed in while Y/N just nodded her head in confusion and excitement.

ALUCARD'S POV

"Gosh, she's so beautiful."

"Should I make a move on her?"

"Will she bite me? God, I hope she does- wait what-"

These thoughts running on my head distracts me!

But really, should I introduce myself? She looks pretty and nice.

Guess I'll give it a shot.

Y/N'S POV

The squad was kind, that they welcomed me into their friend group.

However, I can't help but noticed this blond haired fighter staring at me, is there something wrong with my-

WHAT?!?!

All these years in my life, from meeting different people in the Empire, never in my life, a man, no wait, a buff man ever called me a fair lady.

"So you must be dear Y/N, my, Fanny brought something lovely for once~" he kneeled down and kissed the back of my palm

Wait, is he trying to flirt with me?

"The name's Alucard for you, luv~" he bowed down and winked in front of me.

And I thought that'll be the end of it, but...

...Alucard's flirting became more, frequent.

To be honest, Alucard and I grew closer from the frequent visits on the training grounds to bumping each other on the road. I can't help but feel a spark of admiration for him because of his cheesy pick-up lines and his bravery.

The only thing that baffles me is his flirting, is he trying to give me out mixed messages? After all, I don't want to fall to the wrong man.

I confronted him about his constant flirting after his training in a respectful manner, after all, I don't want to get myself accidentally murdered.

And there I knew that he's grieving over the loss of his father from the war, and flirting helps him cope from the previous events.

"Y/N, I know you might be sick of my flirting, but it's a way to forget my grieving over my late father. I'm sorry."

"But don't get the wrong idea! I actually find you very attractive and nice! And I wanted to know you more better.

Of course I gave him a hug and reassured him that everything will be alright.

As he hugged back, he whispered,

"You know you're pretty... pretty amazing."
