The clock's screeching beside my right ear while my left one is blocked by my soft pillow.

6:30

First day at daycare. I must arrive before 7:30.

I have an hour to wear anything casual.
Okay, let's put a f/c hoodie. I can't think of anything more casual than that.

7:10

Finally arrived at Joule's daycare with that big smile on my face.

I am soo excited to take care of children that are 14 years younger than me.

In Joule's office

"Hello everyone, I am pleased to meet you all again!"

The owner is so kind, I wonder what he used to do before he became owner of this daycare.

"I will now pick the rooms in which you will work in with you're partner for the rest of the year."

Can't wait to work with..Tord wasn't it?
He's got a cute name, fits him really well.

I didn't even realise i was checking him out and he was staring at me with a concern that Joule had to call me out.

"Y/n, are you listening?"

"Oh! Ye-yes sir, I was just looking around the room, I'm new anyways."

"Mhm..you sure you weren't checking out you're partner?"

"Yep! I was looking at the flower pot behind him!"

The perfect excuse, that must have saved me. I hope.

"Alrighty then, onto the rules!"

I said under my breath.

But Tord seemed to hear me anyways.

"Hey I heard that."
Tord whispered to my ear with that smirk.

"Rule number 1. Do not punish the kids for doing something bad! They are just children.

Rule number 2. You cannot adopt any of the childs in the daycare, only for a good reason to do so.

Rule number 3. You cannot do anything weird with the children and telling them about stuff that'll ruin they're childhood.

(And the rest of the rules that daycare could have because I don't have daycare experience.)
