A Train At First Sight

Chapter 6

Sunoo dresses up formally for the interview. Waiting for Matt, he couldn't help but to giggle that he made steps today. He's looking forward for today's interview.

After Matt finished changing clothes, they went on their way to the Cafe. It took 15 minutes to get there. So it's fairly far from their house, he couldn't help but to worry about Matt driving him at the Cafe and to the house.

"Baby, I'll pick you up on 5 pm. Just stay here alright. I'll take you home but I'll go somewhere because my friend invited me to a party." Matt said.

"Huh? A party then I wanna come." Sunoo replied.

"No, just stay at the house. Interview is gonna take a toll on you. Plus, I don't like you hanging out with my friends. Just obey me okay?" Matt said as he kissed Sunoo's forehead before leaving and driving off.

Sunoo went to the cafe slightly dejected. Gladly, the interview went smoothly. "Sunoo, just stay at the cafe and observe the crews how they do their job. I'm so glad you came because we are lacking two crews." The manager said.

"Sure, I'll just stay here sir." Sunoo replied as he sits and waits for his strawberry frappe.

But then a guy came up to him on his table. "Hi, is it okay to sit here with you?" The stranger said.

"Sure but why? There's a lot of empty seats around." Sunoo replied.

"I'm Jungwon by the way, no worries. I meant no harm. I just have something to talk to you." Jungwon said.

"Hmmm, if you're flirting with me then I'm sorry. I have a boyfriend already." Sunoo replied.

"You're cute. I admit that but dream on, we're both bottoms!" Jungwon laughingly said.

"What!" Sunoo's eyes shrieked the moment he realizes what he just said.

"Yes, you heard it right. I'm a bottom, you're a bottom. We can't be compatible. We love tops." Jungwon replied.

"Ah, sure. But what's this about." Sunoo pertaining the conversation.

"Well, I know the guy you're with. It's Matt right?" Jungwon said.

"Yes, how do you know him?" Sunoo asked.

"Well, we're schoolmates and I found him yesterday with someone. You know, the town is small right?" Jungwon replied.

"Well, he's with his friends drinking. It's just that he wants to hang out with his friends more than to spend time with his boyfriend right here." Sunoo said.

"What! you're his boyfriend? then who's the guy he's with yesterday night? I'm certainly sure it wasn't his friends that he's with yesterday. It was a guy." Jungwon replied.

Sunoo's chest instantly tightened and his breathing started to unstable. "Are you sure? It was him?" Sunoo asked.

"Yes, I'm sure. I couldn't just make up stories. Anyway, if you want we could go together at this party. I bet he'll come there." Jungwon replied.

"Sure, I'll come with you. He told me I should stay at the house." Sunoo said.

"See, why would he not want to flaunt his cute boyfriend? There must be something going on." Jungwon replied.

"I'm scared. What if he's cheating? But who?" Sunoo asked.

"I really don't know. I personally don't know him. I just saw some things. But I think it was his ex. I only vaguely saw it yesterday since I was also drunk." Jungwon replied.

"Please, don't let it be true." Sunoo thought.

As they arrived at the party, people are already there drinking. Jungwon guided Sunoo where to settle.

"Drink first, loosen up a bit. I'll take you home if we ever finds out he's cheating." Jungwon said.

Sunoo just nodded in response and drinks a handful of tequila shot glasses.

Not even a minute after that, Matt texted him.
"Baby, where are you? I came at the Cafe and you're not here?"

"I'm at the party." Sunoo replied.

"What party?" Matt asked.

"The party you said you'll go. I know someone who's going and I asked him to tag along." Sunoo replied.

"Get out of there immediately! and Don't talk to anyone. I'll pick you up!" Matt texted furiously.

Sunoo didn't bother to reply because he's tipsy and he finds Jungwon funny.

"Let's go, I'll introduce you to the host of this party. He's also friends with Matt." Jungwon said as he drags Sunoo with him.

As they arrived at the room, Sunoo couldn't help but be shy from the stares and checks-out he got from the girls and the guys.

"Hi Evan, this is Sunoo." Jungwon said.

"Hey it's nice to meet you Sunoo! Please both of you take a seat." Evan replied.

As they took a seat, Sunoo immediately scanned everyone's faces. "Sunoo, I think you're new here. I haven't seen your face." Evan said.

"Yes. I just moved here recently. It's been four days since." Sunoo replied.

"Why didn't you come out often? It's the first time I saw you here at the town." Evan asked.

"My boyfriend told me that I should just stay at the house." Sunoo replied honestly.

"Who's your boyfriend?" Evan asked. It garnered everyone's attention. They were practically swooning him because they felt like someone as attractive as Sunoo doesn't deserve to stay at the house alone.

"Matt." Sunoo replied which shocked the whole room.

"You mean, Matt Cannon? Oh my fucking god." Evan said as everyone's laughs.

But in Sunoo's peripheral vision. He saw a guy who's expression was both shocked and hate. He couldn't help but to notice the slight difference of his expression in that seconds.

"Who's that guy?" Sunoo asked discreetly.

"That's Matt's ex. His name is Trev." Jungwon replied.

After the conversation settled in, the door suddenly banged revealing a sweaty confused and worried Matt.

"Matt, I'm here." Sunoo said.

Matt instinctively looks at Trev then to Sunoo. He went to Sunoo and greets everyone.

"Didn't I fucking told you to leave here? Let's fucking leave before I get mad okay?" Matt whispered to him.

"I just want to know you more about you, you know?" Sunoo replied and is about to cry.

"I'm sorry baby. I'm just afraid. You know how guys here are like total fuckboys right? I don't want to see them lusting over you. Now let's leave." Matt said as he consoled Sunoo.

He grabs Sunoo and was about to leave when Evan stopped them. "Matt, where are you going. You think you're leaving without drinking anything? You still owe us explanation." Evan said as he hints with an eye message.

"I'm sorry but we have to leave." Matt replied.

But before they could leave, Trev went out and left the room. "Baby, I have to go at the bathroom real quick. I'll be quick. Just stay here okay? No matter what don't go out. After that, we'll go home." Matt said then left the room.

Sunoo sits beside Jungwon and just talked to him.
