This was not what I planned. I knew my life would take a turn someday, but in this manner? I could never have imagined it. My eyes adjusted to the dimly lit room that surrounded me. I felt dizzy sat on the cold concrete floor, but a small part of my spirit lifted on the realization that I was still alive. What the hell is going on? Where's Aria? Where am I? My thoughts ran wild in panic as I recounted the events before my world darkened. Was Aria okay? Did the strange man take her too? Even worse; did he kill her for seeing what she shouldn't have?

I cried in soft whimpers on the cold, bloodstained concrete floor just in case whoever captured me heard me and came in to do god knows what. Fear consumed my very being as  heard voices out of the door. Two men. One of them sounded familiar but the other was a complete stranger. I tried imagining myself anywhere else. Anywhere but here.

No. I can't be scared. These imbeciles are about to get a taste of hurricane Zoa!  I thought to myself, allowing a new sense of determination to consume me. "I have to get out"

The men's voices seemed to get closer and closer. Soon enough, they were accompanied by two sets of heavy footprints that stopped at the large metal door. Then I heard the second set of large feet walk away. I had to come up with a plan and fast. My mind raced with a myriad of ways I could get out out of this situation. I looked around for something to grab. What are you doing, its pitch black. I needed to think, and fast.

I spun my  head around as the door knob creaked. "Oh shit". I looked around frantically once more. There was no where to go. "What do I do what do I do what do I do". My eyes darted in all sorts of directions. My heart pounded faster and louder than a freight train. Is this where I die? No I have to do something. Think think think. Light poured suddenly through the doorway.

and then I did it...

The huge hand led the equally as huge body into the room. I charged forward with all the energy I could muster, jumped, and slammed myself into the solid silhouette that stood before me. Clawing at where his eyes were supposed to be, I swung my arms up to grab his hair while my legs straddled his torso. Pretty impressive if you ask me. I held onto his hair like a pair of reins on a wild bull. The built skyscraper of a man flailed and screamed like a 5 year old girl. If that 5 year old had the voice of a 40 year old body builder.

There was no going back from here. I reached for the gun safely tucked away in a holster near his belt buckle. I was doing it, I was going to escape! My hope swiftly dwindled and was pushed aside by a wave of fear as he yelled. "CAPO". Shit!

I hopped off his waist and ducked between his timber logs for legs and made a run for it. Where I was going, I had absolutely no idea, but I was getting out and now. Adrenaline swelled in my core as as I sprinted down the long, drab, grey hallway. As I turned the corner, I heard dear old jolly green giant running after me  in screams.

Jeez this man sounds like a bullhorn.

My focus rested on what was swiftly pursuing me as i pivoted another corner.

DEAD END

What am I going to do now I'm screwed. I thought.

I was shaken out of my split second thought hen I realized a man had exited the right hallway door and set himself at the end of the hallway in front of me.

I'm going crazy, this doesn't make sense.

I tried to run as another two men came out of the same room to stand in front of him. They charged forward and my heart jumped into my throat as I bolted in the other direction. Something soft and hard slammed into my face at once, a familiar scent taking over my nostrils.

"Staples" was the last thing I remembered saying before loosing the light in my mind.
