The day that changed everything in J-hope's life. An unknown path that led him somewhere he never expected to be.

The man opened his eyes upon hearing the alarm that was placed beside his bed. This morning was different from the others. It was different because the man had a holiday and had planned a day out with himself. He rushed out of bed and did his morning routine. He ate his breakfast and quickly changed into his attire. Being J-hope felt different. The constant workload and invasion of privacy were a pain in the ass. Nevertheless, he loved being with BTS and the Army. He went out in a fully black outfit with a black bucket hat and a mask.
He was walking a path which he didn't know where it led to. He didn't know the events that were waiting to happen to him on that path.
J-hope was walking on the pathway of a park, observing nature and feeling the cool breeze. Suddenly he felt as if someone was walking behind him. He saw from the corner of his eyes that a girl with a wide grin plastered on her face. It was a saesangs.
J-hope started to increase his pace. He searched for his phone in his pocket but didn't find it. He then remembered that he left it at home due to the excitement. He mentally cursed himself as he started sprinting. He soon found that the girl was also running with her full might. Hope ran for his dear life and paused upon finding that girl not following him.
He looked around himself only to find tall trees in the surrounding area. He got easily scared of the smallest thing, so it was hard for him to walk through that dark forest on his own. But he gathered courage and started walking forward. The weird sounds of insects can be heard clearly. The noises made it hard for Hope not to get scared and shout.
Time skip :
After walking for roughly ten minutes, Hope suddenly saw a bright light. The sudden exposure to brightness made it hard for him to look at the source. After adjusting to the brightness, the view in front of J-hope left him amazed. There was a large opening with bluish-purple color spread all across the entrance. With scattered shades of pink and white, the view was indescribable. Hope got curious about it and decided to walk through it. Upon entering the tunnel, everything was pitch white, with no trees, no weird noises. He started walking forward and soon saw the end. Exiting the tunnel he found himself in the familiar area. It was the same forest from where he started but it wasn't dark anymore. He was wondering if he was hallucinating things and whether he should visit a psychiatrist.

Time skip ( at the end of the forest):
The place was the same but different at the same time. It felt as if he visited this place for the first time. Shrugging all his thoughts he planned to go back home. He was walking the route to his house but something was wrong. He could sense it. The neighborhood was different, the buildings were different. He was now shocked at what was happening to him. His gaze fell on a girl standing in front of one of the buildings in the complex.
J-hope thought of asking her if he was on the right route or not. The girl looked up to him and her dull face lit and she jumped and hugged Hope. Due to her sudden action, J-hope's mind went blank. When he regained his senses he pulled out of the hug. 'Hoseok, where have you been? I've been looking for you for the past few days she said. 'Woman I don't who are you and why the fuck are you calling me Hoseok? Are you one of those saesangs and it's your new way to approach me!?' Hope said in an irritated manner. The girl was shocked upon hearing the latter's words.
'Hoba what happened to you? Don't you recognize me? I'm y/n, your finance'. Y/n said while cupping Hope's cheeks. 'I don't know any y/n and why are you calling me those weird names? My name is J-hope and I'm fucking single so how in the world are you my finance?!!' He yelled. The girl's eyes filled with tears and soon started crying. Hope might have yelled at her but he was the sweetest person alive on this planet. He tried to make the girl stop crying but she started crying more miserably. Now he had to think of something quickly to make y/n quiet. 'Babe, I-it was a p-prank. Don't cry. Please' he showed his puppy eyes. Y/n calmed down after hearing his words and that was the time when anger took over her. She started hitting his chest and soon embraced him. Hope was reluctant at first but hugged her back anyways.
Time skip:
On their way to the apartment, y/n kept on saying things like 'I was so worried about you' 'I thought something bad happened to you' 'What happened and where did you go?' but Hope was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't even listen to the girl's talk and didn't even realize that they reached their destination. He was so demented about the things happening with him after he exited the forest. J-hope was pulled off his thoughts when y/n said ' Hoba, go and take some rest. I'll prepare something for us to eat. With this, she went to the kitchen to make something. Hope went and sat on the couch. A portrait caught his attention.
It was the picture of a guy who looked just like him and beside was standing the same girl, y/n. He was bewildered. He never met this girl before in his life. There was another picture, in which there was an old couple sitting in front of the two. They looked like a complete happy family.
To divert his attention, Hope decided to watch Tv. Whilst suffering through the channels, he found something strange. There was no mention of BTS or any other K-pop groups. He decided to tune to the news channel and after listening to the news, he had a mini heart attack. The headline read ' The elections that are going to be held in the Republic of Hanguk have gained a lot of attention from the people. Around 79% of the citizens are participating in the upcoming elections. It is the highest percentage ever recorded'. Hope couldn't believe his eyes what they were reading. Questions like 'Where in the world am I?' 'From what I remember I lived in the Republic of Korea so how the heck am I here?' ' How am I gonna go back home?' surrounded his mind.
