"So, what dad said was true. I really am in a different world." Hoseok smirked while remembering the conversation he had had with his father a few months ago.
Flashback:
Hobi and his dad were sitting in the living room talking about random things when his dad suddenly said "Seokie, what did our ancestor say when he was about to die?" Hoseok had no idea about it. How would he ? He was not present there when he was dying. "No dad, what did he say?' He asked curiously. "He said that on the night of a full moon, when all the planets are in a straight line, the door to a new, different world opens!" Hobi was unable to control his laughter and busted out laughing. His dad pouted as his son wasn't taking his words seriously. "Dad you know too that this all is not true. It's just some made-up lie." Hobi said.
When his dad told him about the saying he didn't believe him. How can a scientist accept the fact that even science wasn't able to prove till now? But who knew that the talk he had that night would change his life.
He researched for when it's full moon and the planets would be in a straight line. It was the 18th of February. He decided to check this out himself. He went to the forest and was shocked to see the opening to the other world. It was the way to the other world.
Flashback ends ~
Right now Hoseok was walking down the road that led to the bus stop. He was not sure about what he was going to do or how he would do it. On his way, he saw big posters, billboards and advertisements which starred some young men called BTS and in which there was a person who looked exactly the same as him. He was too astonished to think anything.
It hit him like a truck. In this world, there was someone who looked like him and led his own life. He was so drowned in his thoughts that he didn't even realize a black car stopped in front of him. A man came out of it and said "What are you doing here Hope? Without any mask or hat. Do you want to die at the hands of the sasaengs?" The man signaled him to follow him and sit in the car. The ride was too quiet. Hobi didn't know what to say to that stranger. Soon the car stopped in front of a big building and the man told him to go meet the members and Bang pd. He said that they were waiting in the meeting room on the 70th floor.
Hoseok was nervous as didn't know anything about this person's life. What if he made a mistake and got caught? He slowly went to the elevator and pressed the button that displayed 70. He opened the door to the meeting room only to see seven people looking at him. Six of them ran and hugged him tightly. Small sobs left their mouths. Hoseok also felt overwhelmed with emotions seeing those young men cry.
Soon they all pulled out and their teary eyes were now filled with anger and rage. They bombarded him with questions "Hyung where were you from the past three days?" said the boy with intense eyes and a perfectly straight nose "J-hope I didn't know you were so careless!" said the guy who looked the most beautiful among the others " Hyung, I was so worried about you. I thought something bad had happened to you" said the guy who had plump lips while he tried to hold his tears "Hope I didn't expect this from you" said the guy with an oval face and puffy monolids. "Care to explain why you did what you did?" said the man who was sitting on the chair and somewhat in his late-forties. Hobi assumed him to be Bang pd as that man said.
Hoseok couldn't think of any excuses. He remained quiet. "Pd nim he won't say anything. Why are we even expecting something from him" said the guy with big doe eyes and a sharp jawline. "I-i am sorry for what I did. I wasn't in my right state of mind. I don't remember exactly but I woke up in the forest. My head was aching so much when I woke up. I'm really sorry for making you guys worried. I'm so bad !!" Hobi said in a sad tone with glistening eyes. He acted so well that he fooled everyone present there, but Yoongi didn't seem to buy the shit he just told. But he decided to keep quiet as he didn't want the others to be sad again.
Time skip (in the dorm):
When Hoseok entered J-hope's room, he was amazed to see the luxury the guy was living in. He plopped on the comfy bed and relaxed a bit. So much happened in such a short span. He needed some time to process. As Hobi was about to close his eyes, a loud voice said "Hope come down fast ! I made your favorite hamburger along with some sprite. Come before Taehyung and Jungkook eat yours too". It seemed to be that pretty boy, ahh, what was his name ?? Yeah! It was Jin. Hobi made his way down and sat on the chair. The boys were so cheerful and loud. They made the atmosphere so light and lively. But here Hoseok was feeling guilty as he lied to all of them and took the place of their brother, their member J-hope. He was deep in his thoughts when the guy named Yoongi said " what happened Hope? Why aren't you eating your food? You never said no to hamburgers and sprite". Now all of the members' attention was on Hoseok. He was struck on what to say. "I'm feeling tired and a little nauseous too. Seeing all this food makes me wanna throw up. I'm sorry to ruin y'alls mood but can I go and take some rest? My head aches too!" Everyone got worried upon hearing his words and suggested he go and take some rest. Jin even offered to massage his head which Hobi declined politely. Yoongi just couldn't accept the fact that this guy here was the same sunshine Hope. He couldn't.
Hoseok was thinking about y/n, his fiancé. How she would react upon finding Hobi disappeared. But he wrote a letter which explained everything if he wasn't able to return back home. He was missing y/n's voice, her food, the hugs she gave, the way she giggled. But all he could do was dream about her touch. With so much on his mind, Hoseok slowly drifted to sleep.
