Vivian sat on her couch, a bowl of popcorn on her lap and a glass of wine in her hand, sipping on it as she watched the Vampire Diaries.

"I fucking hate Elena! Why do I watch this stupid fucking show?" She mumbled under her breath, not wanting to wake Faith up since it was late.

She didn't get a lot of time to herself when it was her nights with Faith, so she usually waited until her daughter was asleep to do things like watch trash CW shows, and eat junk food while drinking wine.

Vivian didn't drink very often, she was never much of a drinker because of her mom's issues, and she didn't want that around Faith, or Johnny since he was sober. Some people might think that was ridiculous, but to her, it was just taking the father of her child's comfort into account, and she saw nothing wrong with that.

"I'm in love with Damon." Elena said from the TV, making Vivian groan as if she hadn't seen this episode a dozen times.

"You're such a dumb bitch, you fucked his brother and now you're fucking him? Let's not even go into how fucking creepy it is that two hundred something year old vampires are obsessed with a teenager." Vivian scoffed, turning the sound up slightly as she took another bite of popcorn.

"Elena, bad boys that are older than you will never work out, you should know this by now." She mumbled around the mouthful of food.

Her phone dinged, and she glanced at the screen, seeing a text from one of her friends from work.

Cas: 'hey, Viv! So I have this friend who is single, and he's really nice! His name is...'

Vivian rolled her eyes, and turned the phone off, not bothering to read the full text, or reply. Her friends were determined to fix her up with someone no matter how many times she told them she wasn't interested in dating.

She hated dating, and no one seemed to care how she felt about that. Her phone rang, and she saw it was Cas before she even looked at the screen.

"Oh my God, you don't know when to give up, do you?" Vivian huffed, hitting the green button, and put it on speaker.

"What's up, Cas?" She sighed, taking a sip of her wine.

"Did you see my text, and did you look at the picture?" Cas asked in excitement.

"Yes I saw your text, and no, I didn't look at the picture." Vivian said, pausing her show, and stood up to refill her glass.

"Why not? He's cute!" Her coworker exclaimed, making Vivian snort.

"Cas, I'm not interested, ok?" She huffed in amusement, pouring the crimson liquid into her glass.

"You don't even know him, Viv! Give him a chance." Cas groaned, she knew that Vivian would more than likely shoot the suggestion down, but you couldn't blame her for trying.

"Did you tell him I have a kid?" Vivian asked, though she had a feeling she already knew the answer to that when she was met with silence. "That's what I thought. Cas, I appreciate that you want me to be happy, but at the end of the day, my daughter is the most important thing to me, not a relationship." She sighed.

"I know, I know. I just want you to have someone that makes you happy." Cas said earnestly.

Vivian smiled slightly as she sat down at the kitchen table. "I have plenty of people who make me happy." She scoffed.

"Yeah, but none of them are fucking you." Cas snorted, making Vivian let out a shocked laugh.

"Oh my God, Cassandra!" She giggled, covering her mouth so she didn't wake Faith up.
