~Elise's 17th birthday~
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR ELISE! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!" My mom screamed, waking me up.
"Thanks mom. But why so early?" I said while I was still half asleep.
"It's 7:30 AM. Time to get up and get ready for school. Breakfast will be downstairs waiting, along with a few gifts." My mom said with a wink and a hint of bribery.
I buried my face into my pillow. I checked my phone to find 60 messages from my best friend, Kayla, and a few relatives. I put on my white sweatshirt that had all the Magcon boys printed on the front, jeans, and black converse.
After I got ready, I went downstairs to find my mom anxiously waiting for me in the kitchen. she handed me my breakfast and I started to eat. My mom stared at me the whole time with a giant smile on her face.
"You mentioned gifts." I said as I finished eating.
"Yes. I have a very special surprise." She said with a smile so big it was creepy.
".....Okay...?" I said a little nervous.
My mom slides a large box over the table to me. I opened the card in the front. It read:
"Happy birthday, baby. You are my world. You have made me so proud. I thought that I should get you the world. Since I couldn't afford that, I decided that I would get you your world. Enjoy!
Love, Mom"
I quickly opened the box and found an envelope. I teared open the envelope and pulled out what's inside. I felt a tear drop down my cheek as I hugged my mom.
