Chapter 3

~Elise's Point of View~

I was speechless. I couldn't be life who was right in front of me.
"Hi. I'm Matt" he said in the sexiest voice ever.
"Uh. H-hi. I-I'm E-Elise." I managed to get out.
"Nice to meet you Elise. And who's this?" He said looking at Kayla.
"Hi. I'm Kayla." She said in the calmest voice possible. I don't get how she was so calm. I mean, MATT, MATT FROM MAGCON, MATT THE LOVE OF MY LIFE, was standing right there in front of us.
"I'm here too!" Jack Gilinsky said trying to become noticed.
"Hi. I'm Jack. Jack Gilinsky. Kayla and Elise, right?"
"Yeah. Um. Hai." Kayla said to him blushing a little. I just waved and then focused my attention back onto Matt.
"You don't have to help us with our bags. We got it. We are big girls." Kayla said with a chuckle.
"Now I bet you are. But it is simply the right and polite thing for us to do. Jack grab Kayla's bags and I'll get Elise's." Matt said without taking his eyes off of me. While reaching for the bags, our hands touched and I felt like it was just us, nobody else.
"I gotchu buddy" Jack said to no one in particular. That snapped Matt and I back to reality. I noticed that Jack seemed to keep checking out Kayla. I gave her a little nudge and smirked. She blushed and gave me a nudge back. We got into the elevators and Matt asked what floor.
"5th." Kayla said.
"Hey, us too!" Matt said while pushing the button.
"So. What brought you guys here?" Jack asked Kayla and I trying to fill the silence in the elevator. Kayla and I just looked at each other.
"Um. Magcon" Kayla and I said at the same time. We blushed.
"Getting to go to Magcon and meet you guys was my 17th birthday gift." I said
"Oh. Well then.HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Who's your favorite?" Matt asked us with a flirty voice. Damn he's hot.
"Gilinsky" Kayla said looking down, blushing.
"Mattchu" I said tapping my foot looking at everything but Matt.
Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Jack and Matt give each other a look and a smirk. All of a sudden I am wrapped tightly in Matt's amazing arms and Kayla in Jack's strong arms. The boys both let out an "AHH" in sort of a monstery voice that made them 10 times hotter. Kayla and I just laughed and hugged back. The hug turned into a 'no one else but you' kind of hug and was calm and loving. I just melted. And I know Kayla did too. They let go and put their arms around our shoulders. The elevator opened and we all made our way to Kayla and my room. Since this trip was about Kayla and I, my mom got us a separate room on a different floor than her so it would just be Kayla and I. My phone buzzed. It was my mom.
Mommyyyy😊: Who are those boys you were with?
Me❤️: MATT AND JACK FROM MAGCON!!!!! They took our bags and we are almost to our room 😊😏
Mommyyyy😊: oooooo! Okay. Be safe! Remember, I'm on the 10th floor if you need anything😘
Me❤️: okay. Thanks mom
I locked my phone. Kayla skipped to the door of our room, pulling Jack by the hand. Matt and I slowly walked behind them, laughing.
"Dude. This is your room?" Jack said while Kayla opened the door.
"Yeah! Why?" Kayla said looking at Jack.
"Our room is the one next to this." Matt said as he walked through the doorway.
"Omg. Really??!!" I said...a little too excited.
"Haha. Yeah!" Jack said flinging our bags onto the bed.
"That's awesome." Kayla said sitting on the bed smiling at Jack. Jack sat down next to her. Matt put down my bags by the bed.
"Thanks." I said looking around the room.
"No problem. Hey. I'm going to head to our room and get changed. Jack and I were about to go to the pool, wanna come?" Matt said winking at me.
"You need to come. It's amazing." Jack said to Kayla, putting his hand on her thigh. She blushed and looked at me for approval.
"Um. Yeah! That sounds really fun." I said looking at Matt.
"Great! Then it's settled. Go get changed and Matt and I will be right back." Jack said clapping his hands while standing up. Instead of using the front door, he opened the connecting door in between both of our rooms. Matt followed. I put on my new Jolyn bikini, black high-waisted shorts, and a flowy white lace crop top. Kayla wore her new Jolyn bikini as well, acid washed high-waisted shorts, and a maroon crop top that said "forever young." We both wore black sandals. The boys came just in time. We walked down to the pool and luckily no body was there. I assume girls would be crawling over Matt and Jack so Kayla and I were relived when their attention was focused on us. Jack canon balled into the pool and so did Matt. Kayla and I just laid on the pool chairs. I looked up to look at the boys in the pool. I didn't see them. All of a sudden, I'm being picked up.
"AHH. PUT ME DOWNNNN!!!!!" I demanded.
"Nope!" Matt said laughing. Next thing I know, I was in the pool wrapped in Matt's arms. Kayla and Jack started laughing.
"And why should you be laughing? You are lucky I'm too nice to do that to you." Jack said to Kayla giving her a wink.
"Thank you Gilinsky" Kayla said staring into his eyes. And this time, Jack blushed. Matt and I screamed 'AWWWW' They both blushed. He picked her up.
"Jack....." Kayla said warning him.
"Yes, beautiful?" He said with a smirk. Jack went to the stairs of the pool and stated wading in with Kayla still in his arms. He came to where Matt and I were.
"Can I put you down now, cutie? Are you going to drown?" Jack asked putting her down.
"Yeah I'm fine" Kayla said laughing.
I pushed Matt under the water. He came up putting me on his shoulders.
"CHICKEN FIGHT!!!!!!!" Matt screamed. Jack quickly put Kayla on his shoulders. Kayla and I both fell from laughing so hard. Matt whispered something to Jack. He smiled and nodded. Kayla and I gave each other a look then started laughing. After a while, we walked back to our rooms. Matt gave me a piggy back ride all the way to our rooms.
"We will be back at 7:30. Wear something nice but causal." Matt said as he left our room. Jack gave Kayla a hug then left. Kayla and I looked at each other in confusion then smiled. We showered. 5:45. We still had some time to pick out something to wear. Kayla wore a tight but flowy floral dress and black Converse high-tops. I wore a black skater skirt, a white crop top that said 'Hakuna Matata', and my black and white vans. By the time we got our clothes and got dressed, it was 6:30. We finished getting ready by 7:00. Kayla and I just talked until the boys came. We had our usual stupid, pointless conversations. I swear. If anyone heard what we talk about, we would be put in a mental hospital. The boys knocked on the connecting door. 7:30. Perfect timing. Jack and Matt walked through the door freezing in their tracks. Their mouths dropped open. Kayla and I blushed.
"What? Too much?" Kayla asked.
"Nope. No. Perfect." Jack said choking a little. Matt walked up to me, his mouth still open. I put my hand on his chin and leaned forward. I was centimeters away from his lips when I closed his mouth and backed away slowly.
"You fucking TEASE!!" Matt said wining. Jack, Kayla, and I just laughed.
"I sorry Mattchu" I said with a smirk. He gave a little pouty face and tapped his cheek, gesturing for me to kiss it. I put my hands on his shoulder, went on my tippy toes, and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Kayla awed and Jack gave Matt a 'GET IT' look. We blushed. Matt smiled at me and gave me a kiss on the cheek in return. I buried my face in Matt's arm and he engulfed me in a tight hug.
"Alright love birds. Ready to go?" Jack said gesturing towards the door and reaching for Kayla's hand. She gladly grabbed it and we headed out the door. On the way to the elevator I gave Kayla a little nudge and a smirk.

~Kayla's Point of View~

Jack reached for my hand and I gladly grabbed it. Elise gave me a nudge and she smirked. I giggled and tightened my grip on Jack's hand. He looked down at me and smiled. We got to the elevator and he pushed the roof button.
"Question. Why are we going to the roof?" Elise asked Matt and Jack. They smiled and said nothing. Jack couldn't keep his eyes off me and Matt couldn't keep his eyes off Elise. We blushed. Matt stood behind Elise with his arms wrapped around her waist. She had a huge smile and was as red as a fire truck. Jack tightened his grip on my hand and gave me a forehead kiss. As the elevator was nearing the roof, Jack and Matt checked their phone, looked at each other, and nodded. Elise and I suddenly got nervous. Jack turned me so that I was directly in front of him. Matt did the same. Matt and Elise's foreheads touched. They closed their eyes. Jack looked down and intertwined our fingers. I stepped closer so that our bodies were touching. He looked up and our eyes met. We stared deep into each others eyes and there was this amazing connection. I felt like I've known him forever. Everything was perfect. We were all snapped back to reality when the elevator stopped at the roof. The boys covered Elise and my eyes leading us out of the elevator and onto the roof.
"Ready?" The boys said. Elise and I nodded. I was still nervous. They took their hands off of our eyes and Elise and I gasped.
"Happy a little late birthday, beautiful." Matt whispered to Elise. He gave her a kiss on the cheek and wrapped his arms around her waist.
"And I heard that your birthday was in February and I am so sorry that I didn't know you then, but I thought this would be the perfect surprise party for you two. And we apologize that it is only us, but let's make the most of it." Jack said. I hugged him tightly and I felt a tear drop down my cheek.
"What's wrong?? Are you okay??" Jack asked concerned.
"I'm perfect. This is perfect. Thank you. Both of you" I said wiping away the tear.
"I. I don't know what to say! Thank you guys so so much." Elise said on the verge of crying.
"Oh no. Not you too." Matt said. Elise laughed. We all hugged. We sat down and there was a lovely dinner set up. It was really romantic. The view was amazing.

~Elise's Point of View~

We got into the elevator. Matt and my foreheads touched and we closed our eyes. Kayla and Jack were doing something but I was too focussed on Matt to notice. It was like it was only us. He covered my eyes and lead me out of the elevator, Jack and Kayla right behind us. When Matt removed his hands from my eyes and Kayla and I gasped.
"Happy late birthday, beautiful." Matt whispered to me. He kissed my cheek and wrapped his arms around my waist. Next thing I know, we are all hugging. We sat down at the lovely and romantic table set up and started to eat. Jack and Kayla were in a totally separate world. It was really cute. I was convinced I was dreaming so I zoned out for a few minutes. I was only brought back to reality when I felt a hand moving up my thigh. I gasped and then laughed. So did Matt.
"You okay Elise??" Kayla asked with a concerned look when I knew she wanted to laugh.
"Yup. Yeah. Perfect." I said laughing. She went back to Jack. After we finished dinner, we sat in the roof and enjoyed the fantastic view. Matt grabbed my hand. I laid my head on his shoulder.
"Listen. I really need to tell you something." Matt said looking at me. He sounded nervous. I sat up, suddenly concerned.
"Uh. Yeah. Okay." I said. Now I sounded nervous. He looked down and played with my fingers.
