CHAPTER 2: HIS A GOOD LISTENER

I am home from practice and I am so exhausted. My mother told me yesterday that my brother's coming home. Yup, I have a brother. He's name is Daniel Smith, he's a freshman in college and he's studying in New York. So he's pretty far away from us,Daniel and I are super close but when he went off to college we don't have time for each other anymore. When I go to college I don't want to leave my younger sister like that, it's sad you know?

"Mom I'm home! Is dinner ready because I am so hungry." I said and then I went to the kitchen and I was surprised to see Daniel. I smile and ran to him and gave him a big hug.

"Dani, Your here?" I said.

"Yeah, I just took a break since we don't have school for 2 weeks." He said.

"Really? I missed you so much." I hugged him again.

"I missed you too." He smiled.

"Mom told me you were coming home but I didn't know that you'll be coming

home today." I said.

"I arrived awhile ago. I am with someone actually." He said.

"Who?" I asked curiously.

"Take a shower first."He said.

"Okay, I'll be back for dinner and meet whoever that person is." I said. I grabbed my bag and ran upstairs to my room.

I took a short shower and grabbed something to wear. I got a tank top and paired it with shorts then I brushed my hair then went down for dinner, I am so hungry. I went to our dining room and see that they are already complete and I saw a girl,She's quite familiar actually. I went to my usual chair beside my sister Kylie. When I saw who the person was I was speechless and I was shocked and suddenly I was so mad and angry.

"What the hell are you doing here?" I shouted to her. Amelia Anderson my past best friend and the girl who stole my first boyfriend, the one who made up the rumor that I am a slut and a heart breaker no one believed it either way. She was speechless.

"What the hell is she doing here?" I shouted again but towards my brother.

"She's here to meet our parents." Daniel said nervously.

"She met them already before." I said. I am so mad and angry, I can't even explain.

"She's here to meet them as my girlfriend." He said looking at me.

"Your GIRLFRIEND?" I emphasized the word girlfriend. I can't believe it. My brother likes this bitch?

"Daniel? Are you kidding? You must be kidding." I went to Amelia side and grabbed her shoulders and pushed her towards the door to our house. " Get Out!" I said. Daniel pushed me unexpectedly so I fell backwards and landed on my butt hard. Ouch! I groaned in pain and stood up.

"You of all people you are defending her?" I said and continued "I thought you were my brother my best friend?" I shouted a Daniel tears streaming down my face.

"Ali wait .. " Daniel said. Touching my shoulders.

"Don't you dare touch me!" I said moving backwards.

I turned to face my parents shocked and speechless. "Excuse me, I am not that hungry anymore. Sorry for the mess I made." I said. And then I ran away. I got the keys to my car and went to the place I always go to when I'm sad or even happy. The Park.

I sat down on the swing. I looked down and saw that my clothes are ... too revealing for my liking.

"Allison?" Someone said behind me. It's Alexander.

I nodded in his direction.

"What are you doing here? And why are you dressed like that?" He said shocked.

"I got mad at my brother and his stupid girlfriend, I ran and drove to here." I said looking down at the floor.

"Want to talk about it?" He said sitting at the other swing.

"Well if you don't mind." I said.

"I'm a big boy, I'm sure I can handle it." He said smirking. I laughed softly.

"Well, remember that rumor last year about me?" I asked him.

"Yeah, you were a slut blah blah blah.. Even though we fight all the time I didn't believe that rumor." He said. I smiled and continued.

"Well the one who spread that rumor is Amelia Anderson." I said.

"Yeah, I remember her. I think I kissed her at a party once I guess." He said trying to remember. I rolled my eyes.

"Boys. Anyway she was my best friend, other than Audrey and Natalie.She was a cool best friend then I caught them making out with my boyfriend and I was so mad I promised to myself not to forgive her. She said to me that I was over reacting and I got mad.. so mad. She made those rumors up and no one believed her maybe some. Then she transferred to another school then I thought my problem was over. Then here comes my brother bringing her in our family dinner, I felt betrayed by my brother, he knows about us. I was so mad I ran and got my car keys and drove to this park." I sighed and covered my face and just cried and cried. I don't care if Alexander was beside me.

"Well, that's not cool." He said. I faced him and smiled a little bit.

"That's all you have to say?" I said.

"Umm.. I guess?" he said. I laughed softly.

"What about you? What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"Oh umm.. I was just thinking about something." he said nervously.

"Alexander Wade are you nervous? And what are you thinking about?" I teased

him.

"I'm not nervous and it's something you should not know." He said. I laughed.

"Okay, I won't force you. What did you want to say to me awhile ago at lunch? " I asked him curiously.

"Oh.. umm .. I forgot." He said nervously laughing at himself.

"Okay, you are weird." I said laughing with him.

"So umm... It's getting late and thank you for listening Wade." I said and smiled at him.

"Yeah sure.. Goodnight Smith!" He smiled back.

"Goodnight Wade!" I said to him. I went back to my car while smiling. I went back to my house and realized that Alexander is a good listener.
