Quinn blocked the monster with his arms but was sent flying by the punch, landing hard on the street. He was sure that it had broken at least one of his bones. It hurt a lot, but he was bleeding now.

"So, your stand lets you control your blood. Guess that makes you more dangerous the more beat up you are. Just means I'll have to take you out quickly." The student scoffed as the monster rushed at Quinn, starting to barrage.

Several arms made up of Quinn's blood blocked the monster but was unable to fully block it and it hit him several times, leaving Quinn now sure that it had broken some of his ribs, crying out in pain.

"Go, Invisible Man! I'm gonna put you out of commission now." The student cracked his neck. "Nothing personal. But I've fought a few other users now, and they've all been enemies. I can't take any chances." The monster sent one last hard punch towards Quinn.

It was blocked. A pale blue arm had caught the monster's arm, protruding from Quinn's chest.

The monster retreated and the student went on guard.

Quinn hadn't ever seen this thing before, but he was sure of what it was. "This is my power, buddy. I guess you called it a 'stand'. I'll call it From Michigan With Love. Just to let you have a little taste of home, while I beat the shit out of you!" The stand fully emerged. It was much slimmer than Invisible Man, but still had muscle. Mainly a pale blue in color, with a pale pink baseball cap rested on its head. Its eyes were white and its face was smooth and lacked a mouth, kind of like a mannequin.

"Don't get cocky... bastard!" The student growled. Invisible Man sent another barrage of punches at Quinn, which was countered by his own stand. Love was fast; much faster than Quinn had anticipated. It blocked all of Invisible Man's punches, and then some, even landing some on the stand itself, managing to cause some damage.

The student stepped back a little, placing a hand on his chest. A little blood leaked out from his mouth. "Christ... I'm not going to lose to you!" The stand vanished.

"Shit! Where did it go?!" Quinn asked to himself, turning around.

"Dumbass... you just played right into my hands." The student half-smiled as Invisible Man reappeared, right where it had been just before, gripping Love's neck. Quinn gasped as he started to suffocate. Love sent a punch back into Invisible Man's face, but it didn't do much. "You're not getting out of this. Just relax, if you don't struggle you probably won't be out too long."

"No... you said... 'don't get cocky bastard'..." Quinn choked out.

"What?"

"You're the one... who got cocky... bastard!" Quinn managed. "Love just touched your stand right where you're bleeding... and if damage is transferred from stand to user... I just touched your blood!"

The student let out a quick gasp. "Shit-" Before he could finish, the drops of blood on his mouth shot up like bullets, the immense speed making them hit like a full-on punch. Invisible Man disappeared as the student was knocked onto his ass. Before he could stand, Quinn was already there.

"I've got a couple questions. Why did you attack me? What do you mean that other stand users are enemies? And who are you?" Quinn asked as Love kept his arm pinned with its foot.

"Damn, you're dumb. Look, if I were trying to kill you, I could just summon my stand right behind you. Don't leave yourself open like that. You're inexperienced as hell and it shows."

"Answer the questions, buddy." Quinn replied, glaring at him.

"Jesus, fine. You're lucky I'm a guy with some sense of honor. My name's Shoto Fujiwara, I'm a student from Tokyo."

"Tokyo? Well what the hell are you doing here?"

"Same thing you are. I was called here. I don't know why yet, but there are lots of other stand users here. From all over the world. And almost all of the ones I've met have picked a fight with me. Consider my skirmish with you just now a force of habit." Shoto said as he stretched his neck.

"Almost? Where are the ones that didn't try to fight you?" Quinn asked, curious.

"They're at my place. If you're willing to join me, I think they'd be glad to have another stand useful for combat. Plus one of them can fix up those wounds for you."

Quinn had actually forgotten about his broken bones. With all the adrenaline, he barely felt it, but now that he was reminded of it they started to hurt.

"Oh fuck... Christ that hurts..." He winced, grimacing, trying not to react too much and seem weak.

"Here's a thought. That blood power of yours? Try using some blood to hold your bones together for now. Won't help forever but it'll at least ease the pain." Shoto pointed at Love.

"That's- that's a good point. I didn't even think of that." Love pressed its hand against his chest and he could feel the ribs make their way back into one piece, sort of. "How'd you think of that but I didn't?"

"Experience. Stand fights are almost never about strength. They're about creativity. If you want to win, you have to learn to use your ability as creatively as possible. You got lucky figuring out you could touch my blood through my stand. Most touch-based stands can't affect the user by touching the stand. That's something to think about. But you need to also think about the best ways to apply your power."

"Alright, good to know... now, let's head over to your hideout, or whatever, before I black out." Quinn muttered.

"Fine with me." Shoto responded. Love released his arm and he stood up. "Follow me." He stuffed his hands into his jacket and started to walk, Quinn following close behind.
