I opened the door and headed to the bottom of the drive. Justin was waiting for me next to the street lamp. He was wearing a white t-shirt and skinny jeans, he looked kinda hot. Justin looked up from his phone and waved, I waved back.
"Hey Shawty." He smiled
"Hey.." I blushed. "So where do you wanna go?" I asked.
"Well, I don't know this neigbourhood very well, where is the best place." Justin asked, running his hand thorough his hair. I watched as it all fell back in to place.
"Emmm, what about the lake at the park." I suggested, still staring but this time I was staring into his eyes.
"Lead the way.." He gestured but his gaze never left mine.
The park is five minuets from where we lived but the lake was on the other side of the field. There wasn't many people out but there was some dickheads from school on their trials bikes, thinking they are the best damn things in the town. Justin and I were walking really close together when I felt his hand take mine, I looked down and smiled, Justin smiled back.
When we reached the lake we sat down on the banks still our hands intertwined in each others. We just sat there, sometimes we spoke, other times we just looked at the veiw but the silence wasn't uncomfertable.
"So Alli, tell me, does your brother always stare out the window when you leave the house?" Justin stared to chuckle.
I lay down on the bank and looked up at Justin's perfect face.
"Yeah, he is kinda over protective of me and my little sister. He doesn't want anyone taking advantage of us." I told him. Justin lay down next to me and placed his arm around my shoulder and pulled me close, I wrapped my arm around him and we just lay there.
Don't ask me how long we lay there for, I'm not to sure. Everything was silent they all of a sudden my phone went off, my ringtone You Got It Bad by Usher blasted out kinda gave me a fright. I shot up and answered it, Justin's arm went from around my shoulder to around me waist when he sat up too.
"Hello?"
"Alli, you have to come home now, Jorden broke his arm and I need you to look after Gaby while we take him to the emergency room."
"Fine, I'll be home in ten." I sighed and hung up my phone.
I turned to Justin "Hey I gotta go, my brother broke something and I gotta look after my sister. I'm sorry."
Justin brushed my hair out of my face. "No problem, lets go." He stood up and went to grab my hand to help me up, as he did I slipped in the muddy part of the bank. Luckily Justin grabbed me before I could fall.
"I got you Alli." He smiled. I looked up and couldn't help it, I leaned in and kissed him. He was a little taken back but he kissed me back gentley.
"Ummm, we'd better go." I said pulling away and pointing in the direction of our houses.
Justin and I walked back home hand in hand. When we got to my house we stood for a second.
"Can I see your phone a second?" Justin asked
"Yeah, why?" I questioned handing him my phone. I watched him type in a number then hand in back.
"Text me later." He said smiling. He leanded in and kissed my cheek and with that we both headed back to our homes.
It was a few hours later, Mum and dad were still in the emergency room with Jorden and I was still stuck watching Gaby, thank god she was only 13 months old and went to bed early. I was sitting in the living room bored out of my mind, homework was done and nothing on telly. I put on the music channel and headed through to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of coke. I jumped up on the counter and looked out the window to our back garden. We had a pool my grandad bought for us, they would come over and we would have bbqs and spend hours in the garden. I snapped out of my daydream when I hear my phone ring, the caller was unknown.
