The tall moon animatronic loomed over the white chicken animatronic, whose attention was now on him. He tore the child he called "golden boy," out of Chica's hold and held him gently. Moon twitched as he saw some red bruises forming on the youngin's hands and knees, his wrists were also messed up but it wasn't immediately too bad. He set the child by the bonnie plush that was roughly lost behind a trashcan.

Wires attached to his back again as he lifted Chica into the air with him. She struggled helplessly as he swam out of view.

Soon after Moon left, he was back insight without the damaged chicken. He came down and hoisted Cade into his arms, humming a lullaby when the child began to stir. He then picked up the plushie and examined it for a moment while Cade shifted into a more comfortable position on Moon's hip.

Moon hummed, turning the plushie around to make it look in front of him. He was raised into the air slowly. The mall from a bird's eye view was disturbing, to say the least. Chica lay on the floor in the distance while Monty roamed in tip-top shape. Security bots also prowled the floor like predators on the hunt.

When I woke up, I was being set down in a sleeping bag in the dark. Red, glowing eyes met mine as I squinted.

"It's past your bedtime," The moon animatronic spoke in front of me, "Nighty night."

I recognized the voice but I was too tired to think about it. I shifted in the blanket, pulling the covers over my shoulder. Closing my eyes, it was quite easy to go back to sleep after mumbling 'goodnight,' in response.

Moon tilted his head. He placed the old, sky blue, bunny plush into Cade's arms as he fell back to sleep. Moon sat criss-cross beside the child while facing away, he was hunched over like usual but in a more intimidating way. Almost like he was guarding the kid.

Later, he crept over to the place Sun kept the craft supplies and he removed crayons and a piece of paper from it. Once he came back, he scribbled on the paper against the floor. He glanced at the eyes of the blue plushie and showed it the note.

In dark blue crayon, it read, "Dear Sun,
Protect this kid, no one else is doing it.
-Moon."

After a moment, he pulled the note back and placed it beside the sleeping bag Cade was in. He then rebounded to his original, guard-like position, facing the entrance of the daycare.

A long time passed before anything more happened. The lights snapped on within that amount of time and the Sun animatronic read the note. He held his head in his hands as he sat by the unconscious youngster.

A knock sounded from the large wooden doors of the daycare, breaking the peaceful silence. Sun quietly picked himself up and made his way to the door. A conversation could be heard between himself and a young boy.

"You've been banned already! Securi-" Sun exclaimed only to be cut off mid-way.

"Wait! Is Cade in there?" The kid asked.

"Yepdidoo, but I'm not giving him to you," Sun huffed.

"Why not?"

"Irresponsible parents shouldn't have children!" Sun cried before slamming the door.

I jolted awake when I heard the slamming of a door. I felt dizzy for a few moments, so I allowed my brain to adjust. I slowly sat up, holding my head and looking around. I was in the daycare.
