When I got back down, I got lost multiple times, but I was able to avoid everyone I wasn't sure would be nice to me.
Finally, I found Rockstar Row and from there I knew where the doors were located. I sighed, relieved as I began walking faster. Chica, who was ahead of me, noticed me quickly. She bounded towards me and I took a sharp turn to avoid her. My stomach hurt worse at the action and I tasted a metallic taste in my mouth. I coughed up whatever it was and ran towards the doors again.
I saw Freddy making his way to the doors ahead of me when the lights shut off. I hesitated for a moment but remembered the last time I hesitated got me into this mess, so I bolted towards the shutters.
"Naughty boy," Moon's voice echoed through the pizza plex.
He was right behind me. I ran into one of the rooms, Chica's, and I could hear him following. I ran into the back room and jumped into the vent there. I started crawling through as fast as possible.
"Hidie hide," I heard Moon's voice echo through the vent as he looked into it. "Hideaway..."
I heard loud clanging footsteps of many feet coming around the corner in front of me. I started to back up as I saw the Mini Music Man charging at me. But I ran into something. I looked up to see Moon looking down at me, his body was bent weirdly to fit inside the crowded vent. Mini Music Man was coming closer so I tried to back up more, trying to slip between Moon's legs. Moon used the stump arm to hold me lightly as his eyes flashed blue from red. He backed up out of the vent and the spider just watched like it was too much of a coward to go against Moon. I didn't blame him. I was too.
When we got out of the vent, Moon twitched. He let out a strained chuckle. He sounded evil, using his other arm to hold me closer to his chest. I held my breath as I felt my heartbeat through my ears.
"I'm going to put you in time out," He muttered, then shook his head as his eyes turned red and then blue again.
"No, Moon, I need to go to my mom," I cried as he tilted his head down to look at me. "I hurt everywhere."
I held my toy bonnie tight. I felt something that seemed like it pressed like a button in the arm and heard a voice. The voice wasn't Moon's.
"Hey, Kiddo," I looked up and saw Moon tilting his head upon hearing the sudden voice as well. "It's probably been a while since I last saw you, huh?"
Tears streamed down my face as I listened to his voice. I know that voice.
"Dad?" I asked, choking on my tears, which made my stomach ache.
"I know you're probably really scared right now, but I need you to know, you'll be okay," He spoke.
The voice was coming from my plushie.
"I'll be watching over you from heaven, bud. I'll make sure you're safe," He cooed. "You're the kindest, purest boy I've ever met. If you keep that up, you'll end up with a happy life. Cade, remember when I told you about the time Bonnie saved me? I hope this bonnie will be something of a beacon of hope for you. To help you through your toughest trials in your future. Don't forget to visit my grave, okay? I love you, Kid. I know you'll make it through this nightmare of a world."
I stared at the plush, dumbfounded. Moon also seemed taken aback and his grip on me faltered giving me the ability to leave. I escaped his grip and ran back into Chica's room, then into Rockstar Row. I ran along the hall as fast as I could. I heard heavy footsteps chasing me and when I turned my head, I saw Chica gaining on me. I lifted the garage door as much as I could as fast as possible but it wasn't enough to get me through.
"No, no! Please!" I cried as Chica didn't stop.
I saw Moon swimming through the air just behind her. I sat, pulling my knees to my chest and holding my head on them. I pressed Bonnie's arm to listen to the message again. I sobbed as someone lifted me, expecting to be hurt. But they held me gently and I heard a crash of metal against metal and then I felt air fly by. I opened my eyes to see I was no longer on the ground but in Moon's arms in the air. Chica had crashed into the garage door and couldn't find me afterward. I watched her roam away.
I looked up at Moon as he slowly descended us to the ground. He set me down gently and opened the door for me. I looked up at him and his eyes flashed from blue to red to blue again, causing him to shake his head. Moon gestured for me to go through the door. I looked at the other side and saw the front doors weren't blocked anymore. I looked back up at him.
"Thank you, Moon," I whimpered. "I like you, bye-bye."
His smile seemed to lift but it might have been my imagination.
"Goodnight," He hummed.
I quickly stumbled outside of the building, through the automatic doors. My mom opened the door to the car and ran over to me. She scooped me up in a big hug.
"You're okay! I'm so, so, so, so sorry I made you go in alone, Cade! I'm so happy you're okay," She sunk to her knees, I felt her crying on my shoulder.
My older brother hugged me similarly, from behind. I broke down in sobs for the millionth time that night as my brother rubbed my back and pat my head soothingly.
