Since today is the day of the ball we had a morning announcement at 9am because the professors had to discuss the rules for the ball so I woke up around 8am but, when I woke up I found dracos side of the bed not even touched. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I basically rejected him last night, well he asked me to go to the ball with him but I'm going with mattheo, whatever I'll try not to think about it. I got up from bed and i surprisingly had enough time to rinse my body in the shower, so I did. After that I did my skincare and got ready for the morning announcement, I curled my lashes, put my hair in a bun, applied lipgloss and lastly put on outfit.

Black flared leather pants with a hoodie since I was going to hogsmeade later in the day, the ball starts at 8:30pm anyways.
On the way to the hall I met up with pansy and we talked about who we are going to the ball with. When we arrived at the hall professor Dumbledore and professor Snape announced the rules for the ball. "Good morning fellow students" - professor Dumbledore "Good morning" everyone replied. "This night will we be hosting a ball, which begins at 8;30 pm and ends at 12:00 am. I know that this is rather exciting for people but there will be a few rules. Professor Snape would you be able to read them for us?" -professor Dumbledore "Yes sir, there are a total of 3 rules that are very important to follow. And those rules are: 1. No inappropriate clothing 2. No sneaking in alcohol 3. No after party Those are all the rules that you students should follow, am I clear?" - professor Snape "Yes sir" - the students " the rest of the day is a free day, you guys are excused." - professor Dumbledore 9:34 am Katherine's pov The students weren't sad because of the after party rule, we all knew that they weren't gonna allow it so we already planned one just in case. It's gonna be in the Hufflepuff dorm rooms since they offered to throw it and all we have to do is keep it a secret from the professors and the students who weren't invited.
Anyways me and mattheo are gonna go to hogsmeade to grab a drink and shop for some last essentials for my ball look. I went down to mattheos dorm I suppose he hasn't woken up yet since I didn't see him at the morning announcement, when I opened the door I find him snoring on his bed. I took of my shoes and I woke him up. "MATTHEO WAKE THE FUCK UP" -kath "CHILL OUT IM AWAKE" - he says while yawing "Come on get up and get ready we have to catch the train to hogsmeade in 25 minutes" -kath He rushed up and ran into the bathroom, I sat on his bed and went on my phone until he was done. 10:14 am Mattheos pov While we sat on the train I really took a moment to admire her and she looked so cute. "Kath you look so adorable I can't wait to see you in ur ball dress." Mattheo says "Thank you, I bet u will look handsome in ur suit" kath says while smiling. We arrived later on at hogsmeade and they had opened a new cafe that me and kath wanted to try out. We ordered drinks and talked for about 40 minutes and then kath wanted to buy some concealer I think it was? So we got up and went to the shops.
Katherine's pov We went into a shop called "a lady's needs" and bought concealer and a clip. On the way back mattheo asked me an important question "Hey kath, I've known you for a while now and I um would like to know if u would want to be maybe more than friends?" I was suprised Mattheo wanted to be more than friends byt i didn't want to loose what we already had. "Oh um yes i'd love
