"Grandfather, have the bodyguards found Jan Di yet?" Ji Hoo has been looking for Jan Di for the last two days. After reading the article she ran away and didn't want to talk to anyone. He had gone to her dormitory and even asked her friend but no news.

Ji Hoo had a feeling that something bad was going to happen and Jan Di needed him badly. Even if he had no right to be with her, he still wanted to and no one could stop him.

Ji Hoo wanted to accept that Jan Di would never be his. Yes, she had rejected his proposal because of his bad timing and he also agreed to treat Jan Di as a friend but he couldn't help it. His feelings were becoming stronger each day.

Ji Hoo and Jan Di had become close ever since Jun Pyo left and more so when he failed to be in touch with them. He was starting to get greed every time Jan Di was next to him especially two months six months ago when his grandfather was admitted in the hospital.

Jan Di had spent a night at his home, she had allowed him to hold her like never before in his arms

Jan Di-ah: Sunbae, I'm sorry for worrying you, so I'm going to find out the truth.

He immediately replied to the text

Sunbae: Jan Di-ah, what time is your flight?

The reply came immediately

Jan Di-ah: About an hour

After the reply, Ji Hoo grabbed the suitcase and his passport immediately, he informed his grandfather that he was leaving to find Jan Di

"Hey," it was that voice that kept her in check. Ji Hoo took a seat next to her without saying a word after seeing her puffy eyes. During the flight, Geum Jan Di dozed off, she rested her head on Ji Hoo's shoulder while he rested his on her head.

They later arrived at the airport and immediately a butler appeared out of nowhere to help them

"Young master, mistress, Mr. Yoon asked me to take care of you" he carried their bags away without Jan Di protesting. She was too tired to argue.

Ji Hoo had booked two presidential suites in the 5-star hotel. He didn't want to be followed around by Madam Kang's men.

"Jan Di, rest for now and I will come find you so we can have dinner"

"Sunbae..." she sniffled and Ji Hoo gather her in his arms. He whispered comforting words to her and kissed her head.

Jan Di's suite had a sort of study area. There was a shiny mahogany desk with a beige leather rollaway chair. Behind her stood a nicely illuminated wine cabinet, also mahogany, with several bottles of different selections of liquor.

There was a mounted flat screen, at least 50 inches, in front of the living room space. Plush, velvety, beige furniture was presented on a soft, deep red carpet with a round center glass table. In the corner stood a tall lamp that gave nice lighting for when you wanted to relax. A huge window, taking up more than half of the wall, showed her just how high she was in a 5-star hotel

A white, square, Jacuzzi-like bathtub.

Subtle, minimal yet elegant. This was a room Jan Di couldn't dream of ever affording, but still, in her brain, besides the calculations of how much this must have costed, she couldn't help but admit it. "It's beautiful."

But the problem was Jun Pyo, she tried to get in touch with him but he hadn't answered any of her calls and texts. She slipped on the carpet of her room and released a heavy down pour.

Ji Hoo was from the lobby and happened to pass on Jan Di's hotel room. He hesitated outside upon hearing the all too familiar sound of her crying. He knew the sound of her cries and this was a thick heavy downpour, it carried a lot of pain in her heart and his heart was aching as well. The emergency bell was ringing loudly and his Lotus was in danger but didn't know how to put out the fire. He leaned against the door and closed his eyes as she continued to cry her heart out. He raised his hand and knocked on the door when her hiccups began.
