It's been about half a year since the Titan war but it still feels like yesterday, percy jackson, the saviour of olympus is doing............
Well cleaning his mom's apartment.

Percy

'So much for being the hero of olympus'  he thought to himself while cleaning the floor of his mom's house. He was scrubbing the floor with the mop, a drop of sweat dripped from his head and he quickly rubbed it off,
Suddenly he remebered that he was the son of poseidon! the son of the sea god! he could control water with his will! He shook his head at his dumbness and willed the water to clean the floor, then willed it dry.

He glanced towards his handiwork and smirked, he has actually done a good job! He scolded himself for his dumbness to not think of it earlier.

Suddenly his expression saddened at the memory of the one person who used to call him dumb. Seaweed brain. Sea scum. came into his mind.

Annabeth.

It has been weeks since he had talked to his girlfriend, so he decided to call her today.

Using a cell phone or any electronic gadget was not a good idea for a demigod as it alarms the monsters around you about your presence and not especially for a powerful one like percy because it was literally like flairing a fire in the sky saying hey, I'm here, come and make me your breakfast, but he was desperate really desperate. So he did it anyway.

calling.....
" hello?" She responded
" hey wise girl, remember me?" I asked mocking
" of course I remember you, Seaweed brain" she teased back and I laughed.
It was really nice to  hear her say my name after.... what felt like forever.
"So, how's the construction of Olympus going?" I asked as she was given the responsibility to design Olympus after the complete destruction of it  during the Titan war last summer.
Now, don't ask me about the Titan war as it brings up many sad memories such as deaths of many demigods, friends and even mortals.
"It's going very good! Ok-" she was cut of by a voice which didn't seemed familiar, I heard whispers but couldn't figure out what they were saying, after a few seconds I heard giggling.
"Hey, is someone there with you?" I asked a little confused.
" yeah, No. No! Why someone be with me? Ok I'll call you later!" she cut the line before I could even respond.

I frowned at that, yeah, she's acting a little weird since a month or so like ignoring my calls as she just did! Not even bothering to talk to me. Has something changed between us? No, no it can't be, we both are too close to each other, and since I've expressed my feelings for her.
It might be the after effects of going through something that has shaken you from top to bottom like losing your brother(I'm talking about Luke here) and half of the campers, whom we call family.

She would not cheat on me, would she?

'Stop thinking like that' he scolded himself, staying at home doing nothing is resulting in negative thoughts. Uff, ADHD always gets the better of me.

I should probably leave for a while to get some fresh air as neither my mom (who's gone to the writer's seminar) nor my step dad(he's a teacher, so ofcourse he's at school) are home and more important than that I'm hungry.
So he decided to take a quick bath because he was smelling like garbage after cleaning the entire house and was tired none the less.
He always felt better and relaxed in water as it was his father's domain but right now he can't go to the beach. So it would be best to take a shower.

During shower-

I turned the shower and felt the hot water on my body, which instantly made me feel better.
Then someone spoke
"Hello son!" A deep and strong voice said.
I almost jumped at that and looked around me for the source of the sound then I realised it was my father speaking in my mind, Poseidon.
"Hey dad, you just scared the hell out of me!" I replied with a frown.
" oh! Sorry, but who'd have thought the great saviour of the olympus would be scared of a voice inside his head" poseidon mocked
" Dad!" I exclaimed
" Ok. Ok, I just wanted to say that we haven't met for half the year
And I....uh,.... um kind of miss you, you know?" Poseidon said
And I felt bad for not talking to him for this long but I kind of understood the feeling as annabeth, my girlfriend was also not talking to me that often either. But in my defence he is a God and I'm used to not talking to him. You can't blame me!

" No, I can't" poseidon said "and why is that athena girl not talking to you? I thought you both were dating" he finished.
Did he just read my thoughts?
" yes I did" he said
But I haven't said that aloud, have i?
" Dad! seriously? You read my thoughts!" I said, aback at his powers.
" sorry son! I can read your thoughts as I'm speaking from your head, so it is not basically my fault" he said .
I frowned at that and said
" Right, I'll talk to you later, ok?" I asked getting impatient to leave, one of the perks of being a demigod is your ADHD as your body has natural battle reflexes which make you impatient.
"Ok son, but be careful of that Annie girl, you can never trust a child of Athena" he said and then everything went silent for a moment.
He was gone or so I thought, so I also got out of the shower, wrapped a towel around my waist and left the bathroom.

Sorry! I know this chapter was boring but don't worry  I 'll make it up in the next chapter and make it as interesting as I can.
So, don't give up and continue, the best parts are yet to come.
