Chapter-2

Percy was wandering around the streets after leaving his mother's apartment a few minutes ago as there was no one there except him, and he also needed some fresh air. He was wearing a white v-neck t shirt which displayed his abs and chest with a dark jacket and jeans with his black nike shoes.

Percy

I've been wandering the streets with nowhere to go in particular for a few minutes now and I can't help but to notice a few girls staring at me and snickering.
They were staring at me like some kind of food that everyone wants to eat, and keep whispering to each other loud enough for me to hear.

"Oh gosh! He's soo hot!" Some girl squealed, I rolled my eyes at that.

" do you think, I should ask him out?" you see?, I already have a girlfriend, Ha!

" Damn! he's definitely worth a shot!"
I'm not sure if they intended for me to hear or they were that foolish to speak it aloud.
But either ways, I don't want to stay and know the answer, so I quickly walked out of the street.

Finally I stopped at a restaurant in lower quarter of the city, to have some food as I haven't ate anything since this morning.
So I ordered a hamburger, a extra cheese pizza, a hot dog with blue lagoon .
Did I mention that I eat like a hungry pig? Just checking. It's  not my fault that I've got a huge appetite!
After eating the entire meal, i was still hungry! and I needed more.
So my mind, sort-of, dueled with itself about should i order more or not? But finally settled for the dessert.

Then, He payed for the food and left, only to keep wandering, again!

He was thinking about the camp, how they used to train together, how he used to hangout at the canoe lake with Annabeth, while walking the streets and he was also missing his trainer, Chiron, he was a centaur who has been training hero's since......well, I'm not sure since when. These memories seemed distant, like from a totally different world and it also made him sad to stay away from them.

Paul and Percy were sitting in the dinning and sally was in the kitchen telling them about her writer's seminar that day.

After a few minutes she came out of the kitchen with a tray of cookies and waffles, blue waffles to be exact.

Percy

We ate silently which was awkward until my mom started a conversation " So, how was your day percy?" She asked with a beautiful smile on her face that she used to have, and especially after turning that Gabe guy into a stone statue, she's kind of like this all the time.
"As shitty as you possibly can imagine!"
She just smiled at Paul who was now looking at her and they both seemed to have a silent conversation ,and then she turned to me with a little smaller smile than earlier. Hmm, I wonder what they might have been talking about?
My thought was cut off when my mom said
" So, percy we know it has been hard for you to stay here in city with the mortals and dangerous non-the-less" now she had a pained expression on her face like she didn't want to say further than that.
"Percy! What Sally wants to say is, if you don't want to stay here, it's ok!" Paul said " if you want to stay with your friends in camp, we totally understand".
By the end of the sentence, tears were dripping down my mom's face even if she was trying hard not to show it.

I stood up, forgetting the fact that I was eating, and hugged my mom so tight that she had to say "p-hhec-cy" and make a choking sound to make me release her.
