"C'mon Flounder hurry up!" giggled Ariel.
"I'm coming Ariel!"
"We're almost there Flounder, now hurry up!"
"I don't like it here Ariel we might see sh sh sh sh sharks!"
"Calm down Flounder I explore shipwrecks all the time."
Ariel swam on towards the shipwreck with Flounder slowly following, when they reached the shipwreck Ariel saw something shiny so she swam for it and picked up what looked like a smaller silver version of her father's trident.
Before she had a chance to be seen by a shark as Flounder had feared she swam up to the surface to see Scuttle the seagull as she was intrigued to find out what this strange item she found was. Scuttle was one of Ariel's good friends and she believed that he was the wisest person she knew even though in other people's eyes he would be viewed as quite a dimwit.
When she reached the ocean surface she presented the strange item to Scuttle and his eyes grew wide. "Why it's a dinglehopper!" He exclaimed
"A what?"
"A dinglehopper!" He replied "the folks 'round her use these to brush their hair."
"Amazing!" Ariel then grabbed the dinglehopper and began to brush her hair with it.
Flounder began "Ariel isn't the..."
"Oh flounder isn't it, isn't it just wow!"
"Yes Ariel but..."
"Oh I can't wait to show father and..." Ariel paused and then turned to Flounder.
"Flounder, the party. Daddy's birthday oh Flounder why didn't you remind me?"
"Ariel I tried it's just you..."
"Flounder we have to go, thank you Scuttle. Bye!"
Ariel swam off as quick as her seaweed tail could bring her worried about what her father would think. King Triton may have been a mighty king but he was her father and even though she did love him, she knew he found it difficult to separate the two roles of father and king.
