Episode 22: Instinct

Hollow threw a wide jab as lightening struck Dante. Dante leaned back as he dodged another blow before lightening struck him again. Dante growled as he teleported behind Hollow, but he was followed by another lightening strike.

Dante planted his sword on the ground as he panted, leaning on his sword, Dante smiled as he looked up at Hollow with a murderous look. "I think I remember you." Hollow drew his sword as he imbued it with lightening. "Good. I'll make sure you will."

Hollow launched a wave slash following him planting his hand on the ground. "Thunder dragon." Dante picked up his sword that was planted as he blocked the wave slash but a big thunder dragon rose from the ground as he was gulped down.

Soon the dragon would fly high in the air but it soon exploded in black and blue flames as Dante was floating in the air as lightening sparks were around him. "That was something new." Hollow teleported in front of Dante as he sliced downward. But Dante twirled, as he grabbed the back of his outfit as he gripped to it hard. "Now. My turn." Dante threw him instantly to the ground as the debris covered Tony's eyesight. "Hollow!"

Hollow collided his blade with Dante's as the pressure was hard. Hollow couldn't bare the strength as Dante's blade grew closer to his face. "God damn it." Hollow's eyes glowed again as thunder struck himself and Dante.

Dante teleported back as he was again covered in lightening sparks. "You just wont stop huh?" Hollow gripped onto his katana as he looked at Dante with a stare of wanting to beat him. "You still lose to me, but have the look of wanting to win. I admire you." Dante held his blade out as he called for Hollow. "Show me what a captain is." Hollow gritted his teeth. "SHUT UP!" Hollow yelled before a yellow aura surrounded him. "If you wanna test me as a captain go ahead I won't stop you." Hollow smiled wickedly. "Screw it! I might as well go all out!" Hollow took a deep breath as he pointed his katana at Dante.

"RELEASE!"

Yellow lightening struck Hollow as a explosion formed causing Dante to shield himself and Tony to take cover. After it stopped Hollow stood with his new weapon; A double edged saber. His outfit a look of what a real captain should look like. A ragged kimono as a chain was wrapped around his left arm.

"I've never really got to use this form before. It's my true release. It's also been a while since I went 100%. I've never expected this moment. But I need to do what I can to stop him while this power is limited."

Hollow stabbed the ground as he yelled. "DOMAIN LOCK!"

Dante and Hollow were surrounded in dark grey clouds as they were raging in lightening. "This my friends ends now." Hollow dashed at Dante as Dante was struck by a big blast of thunder. Hollow sliced his armor as it was cut off a little. Dante looked down as he was shocked. "H-He broke my armor?!" Hollow wasn't finished as he stabbed the saber at his stomach. Dante turned into a after image as Dante was above Hollow. "A little slow!" But Hollow gave him a stare as a thunder dragon bit down on him. 2 more appeared as they were ready to attack Dante. "Gang up on him!"

The dragons slashed around, biting and throwing thunder blasts at Dante as Dante couldn't endure the power. Hollow came from above as he held his saber up high. Lightening struck his saber as he struck it down on Dante causing a extreme explosion.

The domain broke as Tony covered his eyes. Dante fell to the ground as he struggled to get up. "I-Impossible." Dante coughed as he tried to stand up. Hollow was next to Tony as he grabbed his shoulder. Tony looked at Hollow in amazement. "That was 10 seconds." Hollow smirked. "Yeah..." He fell on one knee as he leaned onto Tony. "H-Hollow!" Hollow nodded signaling his okay. "I would've pulled more moves but I'm at my limit." Hollow smiled at Tony as he held a thumbs up. "You got it from here kid."

Hollow fell to the ground as he passed out. Tony checked for his pulse as he was still alive. "Satoshi." On command his right eye was black and red as he looked at Dante. "Now. Dante." Tony spoke as he was already next to him. Dante didn't speak a word as he laughed. "You're so predictable." His blade ran through Tony's back to his stomach as Tony's eyes widened.

"It can only be used once but... I call it fake-out."

Tony was on his knees as he was coughing out blood. "YOU BASTARD!" But all Dante could do was laugh as he took his blade out. His armor broke off as he licked the blade. Tony was on the verge of death because of a fake-out as he screamed in pain. "DAMN IT! I CAN'T DIE JUST YET!!!" Tony pounded the ground as he was getting weaker from the blood. "JACK! MELVIN! ZANE! SAMMI! NUMBERS! SCRAP! ANDRE! CURI! HOLLOW!!!" Tony cried for help but it didn't work as he was on the ground now unable to move.

Dante smirked as he stabbed his back one more to make sure he's dead. "You're so loud." Dante took his blade out as he laughed maniacally as he held his blade up. "I did it! I KILLED THE ELITE!!!"

"Satoshi...."

Tony woke up as Satoshi was standing in front of him. "You failed to protect me and your friends." Tony was on his knees as he sobbed. "Satoshi please! I need your guidance!"

"You yet make me submit to you, and can't even beat someone who mentions instinct to you. When he mentions the king he means that the king takes the role of ruling the horse that carries him to battle. He is the king because he dominates you as the horse." Satoshi turned around as he walked away.

"You can't leave me here now Satoshi..." Tony's voice grew more quieter. As he pounded his fists on the ground.

"Let me ask you. Do you want to be your own king of your world."

"I want to be a king. But as well as to protect my friends."

"Then you need to show that Dante brat who's the king. He is ruining your kingdom of reality by ruining the laws and aspects of it." Satoshi looked back as he pointed at him. "It's not always protecting friends you know." Satoshi now was facing Tony. "Winning requires sacrifice. But I think it's not your kinda style."

Tony wiped his tears as he looked at Satoshi. He had a thought of those words as something kicked in. He remembered something. Something he did with the group that was incredibly something no one could stop.

"I will only obey you if you can take down Dante. No-," But he was paused by Tony. "I have an idea."

Tony woke up as his neck was being grabbed by Dante his smile got bigger. "I see you have awakened huh!" Tony didn't move a muscle as he only looked at Dante. "Yeah I've got something for you."

Tony eyed the coliseum as everyone was either laying up, eyes opened but were laying down, or standing up. It seems like his yell worked. Tony looked back at Dante as he smiled. "Remember what you said about the king and the horse?" Dante raised his eyebrow. "What now?" Tony smirked as he pointed at him. "It seems like I'll be taking my throne back." Dante was angry as he grabbed his neck hard. "I'll make sure to cut your head off for good."

"Winning requires sacrifice."

Tony was almost out of breathe as Dante raised his blade up. "Say goodbye now. TONY!"
