"Jessica! I'm leaving now!" Jessica's dad yelled upstairs, heading towards the door.
"Ok! I'll be here when you get back!" Jessica yelled back. Jessica was a tall, beautiful, dark blonde with brown eyes and a slender body. She loved music, reading, and sports. Though she may have said she would be there, she had no idea what was going to happen.

It seemed like hours since her dad had left. Shouldn't he be back by now?Jessica thought. Just then, there was a knock at the door. Maybe he lost his keys and went to retrace his steps. But when she answered the door, it wasn't her father there but a girl who looked almost exactly like her.
"Who are you?" Jessica asked, trying to be polite in case she knew the girl and had just forgotten her.
"I'm Jocelyn. Are you Jessica Coleman?"
"Yes, that's me. Should I know you?"
"No. You wouldn't remember it was so long ago, not even I remember. But I know who you are."
"How do you know me if I don't know you?"
"It's a long story. Here. I have a letter for you that will explain it all." Jocelyn handed Jessica a letter in a Manila envelope with a red wax seal of a lion.
"What is it?"
"A letter. Please, read it."
Jessica opened the letter and read: Dear Jessica,
I'm sorry to have to be the one to bring you this news, but your whole life has been a lie. Jocelyn and I, Jake are you triplet brother and sister. Our world is under attack and we need you to help us. Be careful and trust no one.
Sincerely,
Jake & Jocelyn
"This is ridiculous! There is no way this is real. This is just some prank someone is playing on me. If I really am a triplet my dad would have told me!" Jessica yelled, shocked.
"That's kind of the reason I came with the letter. Your dad doesn't know about our world. You'll have to come with me." Jocelyn stated, obviously trying to be as gentle as possible.
"What!? I don't even know you! Do you just expect me to drop everything and go to some far away kingdom because of a letter and something you said?"
"No. That's why I brought this." Jocelyn pulled out a thing that looked like a gun and shot Jessica with it. Then everything went black.
