Authors note: Okay I just called myself an author. LOL. Anyway, this is my first attempt at writing a book so anyone who does read this please go easy on me. It wont be great but I hope to improve and write more books that will be better than this one. I would love tips and advise on how to better my work, as like I said, I've never done this and have pretty much no idea where I am going with this. Thankyou for selecting this book to read and I look forward to interacting with you guys!

I was on my way back from my psych class, headed for my dorm. I was reading and walking, never a good combination, and literally walk into a brick wall. Preparing for the impact of my ass hitting the floor, I squeeze my eyes shut on instinct but the collision with the floor never happens. Instead, I find that two strong, very muscly arms have found their way around my waist, preventing my fall.

Opening my eyes, I look up to find the most incredible pair of eyes staring down at my small frame. Holy shit, this man is tall. The eyes are brown, not shit brown, but the color of hazel glittered with golden specs, surrounded by thick black lashes, the eyes are also concerned with furrowed dark brows above them.

I've come to realize that the eyes belong to a face, the face of a man, a very hot man. Oh god. How fucking embarrassing! Okay Sophie, take a deep breath and apologies so he doesn't think you're a total idiot!

"Oh my god. I'm so sorry! I wasn't paying attention, I'm really sorry!" I'm flustered and my cheeks have definitely turned a shade of red of the blood red lipstick that my psych professor wears, not only on her lips but also on her teeth.

The hot stranger, with concerned features smirks at me. Bastard. I'm trying to apologies here and he's SMIRKING at me? He thinks it's funny how flustered I am clearly.

"Don't worry about it, are you okay? I tried to catch you before you hit the floor but are you hurt at all?" Oh, the cocky bastard speaks? To be fair his smooth, deep voice does sound concerned and his eyebrows are furrowed again.

I take a step back, to put some distance between us. He smells too good and its making my brain fuzzy and my tummy fluttery. He's making me nervous.

"Yeah. Thankyou, I'm okay. I'm really sorry again" He tilts his head to the side and study's me now, dragging his gorgeous eyes, from my white convers covered feet, all the way to my baby blues with pieces of long blonde hair slightly shielding them. I'm a mess.

And he looks perfect in his white shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his forearms and the top two buttons undone and designer, grey slacks. His black, leather dress shoes look expensive too. His dark brown hair sits perfectly on his head, short at the sides and longer on top. It compliments his olive skin beautifully. This man is not a student at Penn State. No, the visitor lanyard around his neck confirms it.

"What's your name?" He asks me softly.

"Um, Sophie?" I say it likes it's a question, I don't know why but the way he is studying me suggests this man is highly intelligent and I don't want to get one of his questions wrong. Even though I'm not sure you can get that question wrong, I just, I, I'm nervous.

He smiles at me showing his perfect, straight white teeth and his eyes soft and endeared. Wow, I think I almost lost my balance. He can't smile like that at me again, I will end up on the floor.

"I'm Josh" he says holding out his hand, still smiling. Slightly mesmerized by that smile, I reach out to shake his hand. His touch was soft and gentle. "So, you're a student" he says its as a statement, because its obvious with my baby face and white backpack on my shoulder.

"Yeah I am. And you're not" I also say it as a statement because of the lanyard. But also, Josh is definitely not a freshman like me or a senior for that matter. He occupies this air of maturity, college boys at Penn just don't seem to have. He looks older but not old, I would say mid twenty's, if that.

"No, I'm not, I came in as a guest speaker for the fourth-year medical students" He looks me right in the eye as he speaks, he must instantly see my discomfort when he mentions the medical classes because he suddenly looks wary.

"Oh, so you're a doctor?" I ask quietly.

"Yes, I'm an obstetrician at Hershey medical center" he smiles slightly. Wait. He's a gyno? Oh god, that is the most intimidating thing ever. I mean I've never been to a gynecologist, but I definitely wouldn't want to if it was a man looking down there. "What are you studying Sophie?"

"I, uh, I'm taking a few classes, criminology is the path I'm leaning towards though." Gosh I sound dumb. But what does he expect when he drops the gyno bomb so freely like that?

Despite my nervous spluttering, Josh seems pleased with my answer. Why? He's not my grandad for God sakes, he's a complete stranger that I just walked headfirst into, a totally hot stranger that happens to be a gyno, as if doctors didn't make me nervous enough.

"That must be interesting. How long have you been studying here?" he's leading the conversation as it must be clear I have no idea what to say to this gorgeous man. But why does he want to talk to me?

"I'm a freshman, I've only been here a few months." He seems slightly surprised that I'm a freshman.

"How are you liking the campus?" he asks. "I've been asked to give a lecture or two every month and from what I've seem the campus is great. I prefer practicing medicine but passing my knowledge on to future doctors once a month can't be too bad." He laughs out the last part. I smile to be polite.

"The campus is great. If you decide to take the job, I'm sure the little time you spend here you will enjoy" he smiles that perfect smile at me again and I almost melt.

"Would you like to get coffee with me Sophie? I was just on my way to Starbucks, when you ran into me" he smirks. Cocky fucker.

Thankyou for reading! I really hope it wasn't too unbearable, and please don't hesitate to comment or message me and constructive advise and tips on anything that can be improved upon. Please let me know if this is something you enjoyed in the comment section and would like me to continue this book. Please consider giving it a vote!

Thankyou,

Bella xx
