prologue

issey winters was your ordinary 15 year old girl who loved reading, sunsets, beaches and listening to the neighbourhood on repeat. she loved listening to music while drawing the most random things in her notebook however they were only weird to people who saw them. despite moving from the uk in 2017, issey already made a few friends; jayla and kylee who she met at the beach, amelia and grace who she met at netball and jaden and javon who were twins and jaylas brothers.

issey had been playing netball since she quit gymnastics in 2017. since she had moved to atlanta she joined her local netball team and fell in love ever since. she was really good at it and so far she was leading her team to victory with all the wins this season. she proudly supported liverpool football team with her father and they always talked about upcoming matches, games they won and her father would always mention past players and games they played.

she moved to atlanta with her parents and two siblings because most of their family lived there and they wanted to be closer with them. she had visited on multiple occasions but it was for birthdays and christmasses and other important reasons. she decided to quit gymnastics as it wouldn't be the same to her and she would miss being with her friends even though she made new ones.

before moving, she was known for being in peaky blinders up until season 5 which was when they killed her character off to suicide. she had never done anything like peaky blinders before or working on such an important story line like suicide so it was different for her. she had to do lots of research and partner with different charities and organisations so she could understand it more and play the part well. she also starred in one episode of eastenders as the sister of dotty cotton. although it was one episode she enjoyed working with the cast and crew and would definitely work with them again.

her favourite acting project had to be stranger things. she played the role as williow byers up until season 3 where again her character died alongside billy. she loved working on such an incredible show like stranger things and became close friends with everyone on set. she really wanted to have a role in euphoria which was a show she loved and her friend javon was acting in it as ashtray and was doing an amazing job so far.

she was proud of all of her friends successes and accomplishments. she was proud of herself also for stepping out of her comfort zone and doing new things.

there was something issey was keeping from her friends. she had feelings for jaden. she had for a while but had only just come to terms with the fact she actually has feelings for him. she was scared to tell jayla. anyone really. it was all so new to her. she'd never really had feelings for people unless they were celebrities. this was different though. it was someone she knew not someone she saw in a show or film. it was very much real. and she didn't know what to do.
