10 : Run Away

Author's POV

San walked to the bathroom after teaching her some lessons and leaving her sobbing on the bed

He slammed the door hard and she slowly wanting to sit up but her bump felt sore and sting.

She was thinking to run away but where she could running to?

She wanted to get up to prepare for their dinner but her vision turned black and she collapsed onto the floor.

She woke up when she heard San saying to her to wake up. She opened her eyes slowly and saw he was already putting on his suit ready to go to work. She didn't realised that she has fainted until to the next morning

"There's no day off today. I won't let a woman like you resting all day at home and cheating behind her husband" He scoffed and she slowly got up

"I-I'll be there in a minute" She slowly said and he left from the room

She felt her bump still sore and slowly she got down from the bed. She washed herself with warm water and every time she got shower was like a torture to her but what San did to her, was way more serious

She put on her clothes and put some thin face powder. Her lips already cracked because she didn't had any proper meals and drink these few days

Turning the door knob and walked out, she saw San was putting on his socks ready to go to work. She didn't ask more and stood there until he was done

She thought San would wants her to take a cab but his eyes glanced to the door meaning she needed to ride the car with him. In her mind, that was more terrifying to her

They both stepped in and Y/N hissed when she sat on the cushion seat but San just pretending he didn't hear it

"Have you learnt you lesson yet Y/N?" He tilted his head looking at her and she didn't want to start their quarrelling again

She'd already fed up and hate with what he was doing to her this few days. San started the engine and then drove away from their apartment

Few minutes after, the reached the company and San turned off the engine before stepping out. She grabbed her bag that she placed on her laps and slowly stepping out. Every movement she did was like piercing to her skin

"Faster" He said without helping her

She then slowly stood up and her eyebrows pulled together, trying to hold on her pain all together.

"I'd already call Ommoni. Haneul will be here this evening with Anna" He said and hearing her son's name making her eyes filled with thousands of loves of a mother wanting to see her son

"Now you're thinking about our son? When you were cheating behind me, I don't think you'd ever think about us" His sentenced stabbing to her heart

Where was the San that she knew that was loving and caring to her like three years ago?

His eyes were different and his gaze looking at her was cold, Y/N felt like she was dealing with a new person.

"Don't wait for me. Just take a cab to go home" San looked at his watch before stepping away from her, entering the lobby

Tears started to pool in her eyes and she tried to not making it falling. She calmed herself for few minutes and entering her department.

"Y/N!! Are you okay?" She saw Chaeyoung approached her as she coming out from the elevator

"I'm fine" Her voice slightly hoarse and Chaeyoung looked at her face

"You look pale today. I think you should take more days off Y/N" She placed her palm onto her forehead and Y/N smiled weakly
