Chapter five: F.R.I.E.N.D.S

Mariia decides to take a break and go downstairs to the kitchen for something to drink.

Just as she hits the corner she sees Jacob standing at the kitchen sink. She turns to go back to her room but somehow he saw her

"Hey marii" Jacob says putting glass into the sink. "I didn't know you were here already" he says walking towards her.

"you didn't see my car outside when you got here?" mariia says walking pass him tot get to the fridge. He smelled so good she wanted to just stop in front of him and wrap her hands around him.

Jake laughs and brushes his hand through his brown hair. "Okay, I knew you were here. I've been standing in this kitchen for like an hour waiting for you to come down."

Marii reaches in the fridge for a bottle of water and looks at jacob, "why were you waiting for me jacob?"

There it is again. The rapid heart race jacob gets when she says his name.

"We didn't get to talk about last night, I think we should since you'll be here a lot more and ill be here all summer." jacob says walking towards mariia

ALL summer??

"Okay let's talk," Mariia says as she takes a drink of water to help keep her more contained.

"Whos Liz? Do I need to get checked?" mariia says with a clear attitude

"We used a condom and even if we didn't, no you wouldn't have to" jacob says leaning against the wall.

"You only answered one part of my question, typical guy move," mariia says walking past jacob.

"Liz is a friend...with benefits" Jacob says knowing how bad it sounds."I don't do relationship and my mom isn't a big fan of that so she calls them girls of the month"

Mariia stands there looking at him not saying anything back. She's still trying to figure out how she feels. Is she supposed to be a 'friend with benefits?' because that's never been what she wants.

Jacob breaks the silence, "i think we should try to be friends"

"with benefits?" mariia says almost instantly.

"no i meant just friends so there's no confusion or hard feeling about anything," jacob says stepping towards marii causing her to inhale his smell comepletely.

Marii couldn't say anything as she was being mesmerized by jacobs eyes again. Like a trance that just kept pulling her in.

He used his arm to lean againt the counterstill looking mariia in the eyes and mariia can't help but look at his muscular arms remembering what it felt like when they were all over her body.

The memory alone made mariia feel things all over, inclusing between her legs. Thats when she realized.

She still had no underwear on under her dress.

"okay we're heading out" ms stewart says walking into the kitchen with mr stewart.

jake and marii both take a huge step back trying to act as normal as possible.

"We're going to a charity event and probably wont be back until friday morning, just in time to releave you mariia. Ella's still sleeping I think she got extremely worn out today at the playground." mr stewart says.

Mrs stewart pulls jake to the side to talk to him in private and mariia can't hear anything theyre saying.

Mr stewart eventually walks back to mr stewart and they lock arms as they start heading to the door. "if you need anything call us, heres our credit card in case of emergency" mr stewart says.

They say our goodbyes and the stewarts leave out the front door.

Mariia turns around to come face to face with jacob. "Some of my friends are coming over, you should stay down here and meet them." He says standing right infront of her with his arms crossed.

"I think i'm okay. does your parents know you're having frie-" mariia gets cut off byt the doorbell ringing.

"hold that thought" jacob says as he reaches behind mariia to open the door.

mariia turns around to see two guys and three girls standing at the door all holding alcohol and what looks pre-rolled weed.
