Gasping for air in his wake, that young adult was drenched in a cold sweat as he jolted up, reddish-brown pair widened in terror.
'that's... a dream?'
A Nightmare.
Glancing to his next, he could see a brown-haired male in his twenties sprawling on his bed, still snoring loudly as he always did.
He let out a relieved sigh...
He does not wish to wake up his roommate for something stupid.
'That doofus would certainly make a big deal out of it after all.'
That young black-haired Korean namely Kim Rok Soo then takes in some shuddering breath as he just had a dream after the series of dreamless nights he's been getting to get accustomed to.
To lose his limb and got killed in such brutal ways would normally be seen as a bad omen if only their situation doesn't support such a thing to be true...
Actually, ever since the apocalypse started years ago, Kim Rok Soo felt like he shouldn't be this fazed by a mere nightmare.
However, much to his dismay, the ominous feeling did not disappear even as the morning hit two hours later.
He could still sense the fear creeping in as the vivid image of doom glazed over his sighting once more like a broken record played in his mind...
[Lee Soo Hyuk's cold body lay down with steel beams punctured on his abdomen.]
[Choi Jung Soo's final smile as he leaned on his sword, following their Leader's fate afterward.]
Then lastly...
[a stranger with red hair, looking stupefied as he reads a letter that's written in Korean.]
Rok Soo couldn't understand why this specific nightmare affected him this much.
Like, he even overpoured the hot coffee and ended up throwing his mug from the hot liquid dripping onto his hand.
"Hey, you okay?"
As expected, the first person who reached out to him would be this brown-haired doofus.
"Yes, just got distracted a bit"
He flatly answered the other guy as he busied himself cleaning the shards and the mess he made while trying not to make it obvious that he was avoiding eye contact.
Choi Jung Soo might be a goofball most of the time, but Rok Soo has learned to realize that he's quite sharp especially when it comes to him and their team leader, Soo Hyuk.
True to that thoughts, the brunet could be found scowling as he crouched down lower, trying to make Rok Soo face him properly.
"Right. So, what's up? Did someone bully my dear dongsaeng behind my back again?"
Swoooooosh!
Jung Soo tilted his head right in time to evade Rok Soo's fist.
'eyy, how violent this dongsaeng of mine~'
That swordsman nearly broke into laughter at the expected response.
"you're not my hyung"
Annoyed, but that black-haired male was deadpan while speaking as if he did not just aim for the brunet's stupid grin.
"Besides, the fuck do you mean with 'again'? Nobody bullies no one"
"Uh-huh"
Jung Soo hummed, hands placed on his chin before then proceeding on staring at him as if he's pitying him or something.
