Unsaid & Unheard

3 nights straight.

Kim Rok Soo has been haunted by the same repetitive dream that always woke him up on witching hour, drenched in sweats.

The first time was annoying.

The second time was disturbing.

And by the third night, Rok Soo might even be able to chalk the exact spot where they lay dead.

Grey and Red.

Smoke and Blood.

Third time in a row— this time he was awakened by his roommate and his team leader.

"Hey, Rok Soo, you okay, man?"

Worry was painted heavily on their faces as he wheezed and clutched the blanket still.

The death of these two was so vivid, to which his own death was not visible on the third night.

'Why?'

Why was he the one who's destined to survive?

Rok Soo couldn't stand that.

He nearly broke down there and then even.

That ower of the Reddish-brown pair of eyes believed that his emotions had died along with time due to how much people think that he got things all figured out with how calm he is all the time.

Maybe he too has been too comfortable with that delusion.

That being said, despite being someone heartless, seeing that he's still a human regardless, sometimes Rok Soo wished that people, or at least these two whom he has considered his family, would be able to see the pain that he has seen.

The pain that he has been ignored.

All of the time he spent, being not him...

Sometimes he prayed for someone to look past his facade and sees the ripple in his dead eyes then reach out to him whose voice was silenced by conscience.

"Hey, buddy. Talk to us, yeah?"

It seems like his prayer is finally heard.

The question is finally asked. The chance is here for him to grasp.

Now... If only he could just... be truthful...

"I..."

Shaky orbs were closed as he felt two different hands resting on his shoulders.

Suddenly his throat felt extremely dry.

However, he's still trying... you know, just in case it was not a mere dream but a sign.

"Your deaths, Hyungs. Our deaths... That's what I see. It's fucking disturbing..."

With a voice that's barely above a whisper that tortured soul uttered.

He couldn't be frank.

He couldn't say much.

His words are dying on the edge of his tongue.

"Would you like to talk about it, Rok Soo?"

Soo Hyuk was the first one to snap out when their youngest actually acknowledged them as his big brothers.

The stubborn lad wouldn't ever do that even as he fainted after overusing his power.

So, for Rok Soo actually admitted to being this vulnerable, this nightmare must have been horrendous.

The poor lad was quiet afterward and honestly, they couldn't blame him since they knows the younger tendencies to keep everything to himself until it either ruined him or died out on its own.
