Kintklith Krū(KIN-lith KRUU) had never been truly talented or creative, except for two things. Cooking, and fighting. He currently wields Tokringer (TƆ:-krinj-ər), which is a hand-and-a-half blade. The blade itself was three-quarters of an arm long, about half an inch thick, and dual-edged, though most hand-and-a-half blades were. He was far deadlier than the weapon itself, with grace and ease, he sliced through the practicing dummy with one fell swoop. Kintklith is a teacher at the fighting school in Alletheria(ÆL-le-THIƏR-i:-ə)(meaning "land of warriors" in Sidgl). Alletheria is where he lives currently, a city in Lathestria(LA:-thes-TRI:-ə)(Land of night). The second-largest city in Lathestria, in fact.
Kintklith had one odd thing about him. One thing almost no one else he knew had, he had purple eyes. It was not something of much importance to him, as he figured it was just a defect from his unusual situation at birth.
It was the morning of the next day, and Kintklith walked through the doorframe of his room, bumping his head against it. He looked into his violet eyes in the mirror on the wall. He ran a comb through his raven hair then straightened out his lilac kimono. He slipped through to the front of the house and slid Tokringer into his belt. He left the house and went to Okago(Ɔ:-ka:-GƆ:), the fighting school he worked at.
He soon arrived at the school and went to his training room. The usual students walked in, but who walked in next made him shocked. A young boy around the age of 14 walked in, a white belt tied around the middle of his gold kimono, but what struck Kintklith most was his eyes. He had dark purple eyes. “What is your name?” Kintklith asked the boy.
“Krio, Krio Sī(KRI:-ɔ: SII:), Sensei,” the boy, Krio, replied.
Then Kattai Yomia, Kintklith’s teaching assistant, walked in, standing next to him. “Alright everyone, today I will teach up to 4-dan(The first four ranks in kendo) more stances and combos, while Kattai-san teaches 5-dan and up more complex combos. So, everyone gets into two groups, I want 5-dan and above with Kattai and 4-dan to kyu(the lowest rank in kendo) with me,” Kintklith states.
It is now the end of the day and Kintklith walks up to Kattai. Kintklith asks, “Want to go to the tea shop with me?”
“Sure, babe,” Kattai responds, standing up and grabbing Kintklith’s hand.
Krio watches from the background envious of Kintklith and everything he has.
