Ottilie is a Princess, with two brothers, one older, and one younger. Her parents have made a deal with Uther, to have her marry Arthur, to create a peace treaty between their lands, considering theirs is a very power kingdom of magic and Uther knows if they decided to attack, they would lose Camelot, so offered the idea of the marriage treaty.
Third Person
Arthur, Leon and Lancelot were being over run by the bandits. Arthur mentally cursed himself for making the decision to come hunting in the first place. It never seemed to end well these days, there was always something that went terribly wrong. Worst of all, the only people he'd brought with him were, Merlin, Leon and Lancelot. Leon was the only knight, Lance hadn't yet earned that title, and Merlin was a servant, incapable of lifting a sword, let alone weilding it.He glanced around to ensure his manservant was still safely hidden behind a tree. He made eye contact with the wide blue eyes of his servant and sighed in relief. He was still hidden away, yet to be noticed.
Merlin on the other hand was staying out of sight as he caused branches to fall, and swords to burn in the palms of the bandits. But it wasn't enough, especially as a few of the bandits took notice of him, and charged.
Merlin flicked his eyes between the three charging at him, and then glanced around. His three companions were distracted, good. He flung the first bandit back, the man hitting his head on a tree, knocked out cold. As Merlin's eyes glowed gold and the seconds sword grew hot in the man's hands, the bandit was struck in the back, and collapsed forward, dead.
Merlin looked up in shock, his gold glowing eyes, meeting an unfamiliar pair of green ones. His eyes widened in sudden fear and he ducked down to the ground, curling in on himself as the green eyed, brunette woman, swung her sword at him. But the blow never came. He glanced up and realised that she hadn't been swinging at him, but at the third bandit, who had snuck up behind him.
"Well don't just sit there." It wasn't said harshly, in fact the woman's tone was more that of humour. She spun away from him and cut down another bandit, and another. Merlin quickly rose to his feet in shock and awe as he watched her dance around the trees, parrying and cutting down the men with the easy of a fine tuned warrior.
The tides turned and she took down the remaining few bandits without Merlin having to intervene again.
The five stood in silence, catching their breath, before Arthur turned to address their strange saviour.
"Thanks for the hand." He commented as he sheathed his sword and moved towards her. She shrugged her shoulders with a tired grin.
"No problem. I was passing through." She joked as she too, sheathed her sword. It was then that Arthur, and the others, realised it was sheathed on the right side of her waist. She had been weilding it with her left hand. It was very rare to find a left handed swordsman. Yet here was this strange woman, with more skill than any of them, and she was also left handed.
"I'm Ottie." The brunette introduced herself as they walked back threw the trees to the small clearing the knights had been using as a camp. Ottie held her hand out to Arthur and he took it. She shook it firmly, which surprised the Prince further.
"Prince Arthur of Camelot." Arthur replied as his brows furrowed a little, having not expected a handshake, let alone such a firm grip.
"Oo, a Prince, how fancy." Ottie joked as she turned to Merlin, the sorcerer that had her oh so curious.
"And you." She questioned as she held out her hand to the raven haired servant. Merlin looked a little surprised, before shaking her hand.
"Ah, Merlin, Prince Prats servant." Merlin jested with a grin, receiving a jab from said Prat. Ottie laughed at the pair and nodded her head at the two knights that accompanied them, in question.
