All Too Well

And there we are again, when nobody had to know, you kept me like a secret but I kept you like an oath.

Y/N's POV

It was hard loving the one and only Narcissa Black, her family was one of the largest, oldest and wealthiest pure blood who hates muggleborn, like me. We've been not so secretly inlove with each other since first year, Remus and Sirius knows because they were my fellow gryffindor bestfriend. Andromeda knows too, except for Bella because she hates muggles.

Narcissa wasn't like her other family who hates muggles, we got along very well, became bestfriends and turned into lovers. Of course it was hard to hide my jealousy when she was having a conversation with the others. We were so happy, had a low-key intimate relationship, but it was all ruined when Narcissa left me. It was our last day in Hogwarts when I asked her if we could finally make our relationship public.

"Cissa, don't you think it's time for us to go on public? we could do alot of things yknow?" I suggested, "Y/N you know we can't, my family would banish me." Narcissa spoke, "Bullshit, darling we're inlove! we could runaway and build a life together" I snapped, tears forming in my eyes. Narcissa looked at me, "As much as I love that thought, we can't." I stood up, "Why?! Give me one reason why, darling please." I spoke, gently caressing her cheeks, "I- I'm getting married" She said and I froze, my heart shattered at her words of betrayal, "You're getting what?" I stuttered, my vision's getting blurred because of the tears running down. "My family arranged me with Lucius Malfoy, and I can't say no." she said, "Why didn't you tell me right away? we could've done something" I said practically yelling, "Don't you understand? We couldn't do anything Y/N! I couldn't be seen with a muggle!" Narcissa said, clearly regretting the words the second they left her lips. "Are you serious?! If you truly loved me, you will do anything whatever it takes, because Narcissa if I was in your shoe, I would do anything because you are my everything."

Maybe we got lost in translation, maybe I asked for too much, but maybe this thing was a masterpiece, until you tore it all up.

After that day, we haven't seen each other since. It's been years, and she's still my everything, the love of my life, but I wasn't hers. I heard she has a son now, good for her I guess. I wonder if she ever had thought of me, or if she had thrown my scarf that I gave to her because she said it smells like me. Thank Merlin I had Sirius and Remus there for me at my lowest, they helped me cope and everything.

They say all's well that ends well, but I'm in a new hell everytime you double cross my mind.

Sirius asked me to be his plus one on a party that's being held on Black Manor tonight. "Are you sure pads? I'm a muggle, I am not allowed there" I said. "Y/N, it's fine, Andy's bringing Ted Tonks who also happened to be a muggle, she married him." he said reassuring me, but if Andy had married him, a muggle, why can't Narcissa? "I know what you are thinking right now Y/N" he said with a small smile in his face "It's been years Sirius, I'm not thinking of her anymore" I lied. "If you say so" he said chuckling, "Let's go to Diagon Alley and buy a fancy dress for you, come on princess" he winked and I playfully rolled my eyes at him.

I'm wearing a maroon slit evening dress and 3 inch stilettos. I had my hair down and curled it, had a simple makeup. I was fixing my pouch when a someone knocked at the door, I opened it and revealed a man who's wearing a expensive tux, "Wow, you look absolutely beautiful." Sirius said, "Why thank you, Mr Black" you giggled. "Are you ready? Remus is waiting for us downstairs, he's coming too" he said. "That's great!" I'm nervous because I don't know who are the guest in parties and I only know my two bestfriends and Andromeda, and then it hit me Narcissa. She's coming too of course.

Then here we are, in the Black Manor, there's a bunch of people. I held Sirius and Remus hands because I was tense, not just because of the guests, because Narcissa is here probably somewhere. They patted my shoulders and told me it's going to be just fine.
