Y/n's: POV:

We just sat there for a while, George massaging my hand with his warm fingers. Suddenly Dream stood up and walked into the kitchen making me realize how hungry i was. I moved my hand to check the time and felt George move away from me, he probably thought the gesture was a way to say that he had gotten to close.

It got a little awkward, I didn't dare to move closer to George or ask him to move back so we sat a bit away from each other in silence. I looked up at Sapnap and found him staring at us with a smirk on his face. He looked like he was going to say something but just as he opened his mouth Dream came back from the kitchen.

"We're almost out of food" he said with a concerned look on his face. "Man I was hungry" Sapnaps sudden exclamation  made me jump a little and George gave me a quick look "I've got some snacks from the plane"

"Okay so we've got enough food for three of us?" I asked with a frown. "Yeah pretty much" was Dreams answer. "Can't we just eat and then go get more?" Sapnap questioned with an irritated look. "Sure, you can go out there and die alone" Dream sounded annoyed. But I knew it's only because he cared. "Fine but I'm eating" Sapnap said simply.

I started to get a little concerned, I didn't want it to develop into a fully heated argument. I hate when people argue and especially my friends."I can skip" i heard Georges voice in unison with my own. We turned to each other "It's fine I'm not hungry" i said at the same time as he said: "I ate on the plane". I furrowed my eyebrows, ready to start arguing. "But-" I started "Y/n  just take it" Dream cut me of.

George rose up and walked towards the door "Where are you going?" Sapnap asked in an confused tone. "The snacks are in the car" he answered and Dream gave him a strange look "It's hard to get them without the keys" he said and threw the car key to the British boy who caught it and walked out of the house.

Just as he closed the door the television flickered and turned on again.

"New reports show that the sudden illness has a connection to the covid-19 vaccine, if you are vaccinated or know someone who is please keep isolated and-"

The reporter guy suddenly screamed and the camera toppled over, only showing the floor and a pair of feet that was in a pale green shade before the screen turned black again. I thought to myself: 'what the fuck is that'
We stared at the TV for a little while until the door slammed shut scaring the shit out of me. I tuned to the door and saw George with a bag in his hands. "What?" he asked when he saw our scared expressions.

George's POV:

I just came back from the car and when I got through the door into the living room and I was met by three pair of eyes just staring at me with fear. "What?" I said, it was just quiet for a little while before Dream blurted: "Out" with an aggressive voice. "Dream!" whisper-shouted Y/n. "He's a danger!" Dream snapped back at her.

I just stood there looking at the siblings in confusion. "Dude, he doesn't look like those feet to me". That statement just added to my confusion. "Fine but if he starts acting weird I'm kicking him the fuck out" Dream said with a stern voice. What did I do wrong?

Y/n POV:

When we sat down to eat George moved to sit down beside me but Dream took the place before him. I got annoyed but didn't say anything about it.

Well that's until he whispered in my ear: "Don't get too close to him". I slapped him, "Seriously Dream I'm not a baby, I can take care of myself!" Sapnap raised his eyebrows at us "Damn, is she on her period or something?" I looked at George who was trying to hold back a smirk, I looked back at Sapnap and gave him a death glare before I turned back to my brother who was rubbing his cheek with a pained expression. I felt a bit bad but he kinda deserved it anyway.

I looked over at George and saw him with his arm around his stomach and realized he was hungrier than he pretended to. I was just about to say something about it when Sapnap said: "So, are we gonna get more food or are we just gonna starve to death?" I gazed at him and saw that he was looking at George too.

"Alright, but if we die it's your fault" my brother stated. Sapnap stood up and I tried to do the same thing but Dream stopped me by putting his arm in front of me "You're not going" I glared at him "Yes, I am" I was about to raise my hand again but Sapnap pulled it down "More food won't really help if we kill each other" he said and then he dragged me out of the house by my arm.

We had walked for about two minutes with no one saying anything until George broke the silence "So where are we going?" "There's a grocery sto-" Sapnap was cut of by Dream hushing him.

We stopped walking and heard limping footsteps closing in on us. George and Dream moved so they stood protective in front of me while Sapnap just stood a little bit from us. He looked over at us and made an "Oh" sound before he moved in behind me. Do they honestly think I can't protect myself at all?

I could see something approaching us, it kind of looked like a human but it walked with a limp and some body parts seemed to be a bit demolished. It looked really familiar but I couldn't figure out why.

It came closer and that's when I realized why it looked so familiar. Before I could say anything I heard a loud bang and it fell to the ground. My breath quickened and the others started walking away from the creature, I felt someone take my hand and drag me away.

"Y/n! Y/n?! Y/n come on!" I looked up and saw Sapnap looking at me with a worried expression on his face. He was holding my wrist in a tight grip. Almost so tight it hurt. "Breath with me alright" He made me sit down against a house so I could match his breathing easier. "In and out" I could hear my brother and George talking a bit away from us. I felt myself calm down at the sound of his much calmer heartbeat.

After he helped me slow down my breathing, he said:"Y/n it's okay it's not going to hurt you, it's gone" in a way to try to calm me down. "Y-Yeah that's the problem" I managed to say between my sobs. He pulled me into a hug and I whispered into his chest "It was Zoe" When I said that he pulled me in closer.

We started walking again catching up with George and Dream. When we got closer to them I realized that they were walking like a meter apart from each other and they weren't talking. Sapnap fastened his pace and walked up in between them, he said something to Dream who slowed down so he was walking beside me. "Sorry for being such a jerk" he said , I looked up at him " You were more of a bitch actually but it's ok, sorry for hitting you" he raised his eyebrows " Yeah that really hurt". I was gonna reply but we had come to the store now. It was also starting to get darker outside, I hoped we could get home before nighttime.

Sapnap's POV:

When we got to the store George walked straight up to the canned food and  Y/n sneaked away towards the hygiene section. She walked in through an isle that I knew was the one with period products. "So she is on her period" I said loudly, I would like to think it was to cheer her up but I knew deep down it was mostly to annoy her.

I looked over at George who now had filled a basket with canned food. That's quite smart since it will last longer. I was about to walk over to George when I heard a loud noice that sounded really strange. It didn't sound human-like. It sounded like it would come from some horror movie or something. I could hear footsteps coming closer to us it was to dark in the store to see who it was. I guess the power went out or something. At this point I was scared as fuck. Turns out it was only Dream. But Dream couldn't possibly have made that strange noice.

"Did you guys also hear that sound?" he asked when he came up to us. So he had also heard it it wasn't just me who had gone crazy. "Yeah, it didn't sound human to be honest" Y/n said. "That's exactly what I thought." I said. I looked around the room to make sure nobody unwanted was there. That's when I heard the same noice but much louder. "Holy shit" I heard George whisper. I saw George taking Y/n's hand and her squeezing it back. Dream stood in front of us and pulled out a pocket knife. 'When did he even get that?' I thought. I heard footsteps that sounded like they were limping coming towards us.

That's when I saw a person that looked just like Zoe did, it had body parts that looked demolished, it had a green pale skin tone. It looked like those zombies in scary movies. But that's obviously just made up.
