LOVE ALARM

Chapter 3

♡ 6 months after the release of love alarm ♡

Taehyung couldn't believe he'd been dragged into this mess. Namjoon and Jin had convinced themselves that their entire lives depended on being able to take beautiful pictures of the cherry blossoms this year. Yoongi had been persuaded to come by Hoseok, who then told him they could take group photos. It's almost too simple. Jungkook came along to take the photos, and Jimin came because Jungkook gave him puppy dog eyes.

Taehyung, on the other hand, had been persuaded by the buzzing in his ears and the pounding in his heart when Jimin had again invaded his personal space and whined for him to come with him. Taehyung had agreed before he'd even finished processing Jimin's words, and now he stood stiff-backed and straight-shouldered among a large crowd of people who shared their intentions.

They found a good spot and the others began taking pictures of each other, Taehyung and Yoongi off to the side, he sat primly on a tree root, himself standing straight-backed with one arm tucked behind his back.

Every time Namjoon and Jin rang each other's Love Alarm, they grinned. Yoongi seemed irritated by this, but Taehyung noticed a small smile on his face each time it happened. He also noticed Yoongi staring at him as he stared at Jimin, but he wasn't too concerned about it. Yoongi was almost as tight-lipped as he was, and he wasn't the type to gossip or interfere in other people's business.

So the two of them remained silent, Yoongi scrolling through his phone and Taehyung listening to the occasional sounds of Love Alarms ringing around them, trying not to imagine what it would be like to be able to ring Jimin's and have his rung in return.

Normally, he tried to avoid thinking like that because it made it difficult for him to breathe. But today was different; Jimin had dressed up in his best outfit, which had been approved by both Hoseok and Jin, and he looked stunning against the backdrop of the cherry blossom trees. Taehyung had decided to give himself a break, allowing himself a little hopeless pining on special occasions.

" Come take photos with me!" Jungkook called out, excitedly waving his hands. Taehyung smiled as he allowed himself to be pulled into a one-armed hug by Jungkook and posed by Jin.

"Tae!" Jimin whimpered in the voice that Taehyung despised. He'd never been able to say no to Jimin's voice in all his time knowing him, and Jimin knew it and abused the power mercilessly. "Come take photos with me!"

It was fortunate that Jimin was too far away to hear the small sound he made. Nonetheless, he made a valiant attempt to hold his ground, which both boys knew was futile.

Jimin dragged Taehyung over to where the rest of the group was standing at the base of a tree, having completely defeated him with the power of his own voice and five fingers wrapped around his wrist.

As Taehyung stepped away, the trees shook and thousands of tiny pink petals rained down on the crowd. Along with laughter and shouts, there were gasps of appreciation and excitement in the air. Taehyung's gaze was drawn to Jimin's delighted expression as he turned slowly, watching the petals fall to the ground, his hands outstretched as he tried to catch petals in his hand with a wide grin.

Taehyung felt the corner of his mouth tug against his will as he looked at them before a camera shutter caught his attention. When he looked over, Namjoon was grinning mischievously from behind the camera he had pointed at him.

"Ah, Taehyung, I have photographic evidence! I think I've captured the perfect image of you!"

Jimin's attention was drawn to that exclamation. He spun around on the spot, peering over Namjoon's shoulder before Tae forced him to delete it.
