Taehyung was sitting on the floor in their dance room with the others, waiting for Jimin and Jungkook to return with their condiments, when his Love Alarm rang, alerting him to the presence of his boyfriend. He looked up to where he'd heard the response chirp and saw Jimin standing exactly ten metres away, holding their drinks.
He took one step back, his gaze never leaving Taehyung's, then another, giggling as Taehyung's phone chirped again.
Taehyung twitched the corner of his mouth. Jimin took another step back and began circling their ten-meter radius, stepping in every other step and ringing their Love Alarm just to annoy the Singles in their group.
Jimin finally closed the distance between them, carefully setting down their drinks before leaning down to plant a long kiss on Taehyung's lips, ignoring his friends' giggles that filled the room.
"I love you," Taehyung murmured as Jimin drew back.
"I love you the most," Jimin replied, pulling him into another kiss.
Their kiss embodies the promise of years and the sweetness of longing for true love.
Soul meets soul, on their lips.
