Athena sipped on her iced chai latte, clutching on her rather, colourful, art portfolio bag as she made her way towards college. If the girl was being completed honest, she'd rather be sitting in her living by herself as she played Arctic Monkeys on full blast while painting whatever comes to mind, however she needed to get a further education because in this economy, you can't survive without a college degree.
So here she was, shivering in the cold while trying her best not to drop her latte. Oh, and not to mention that her phone was constantly beeping in her handbag as it was being spammed with messages from Wooyoung, who she was supposed to meet at camping 10 minutes ago.
In her defense, it wasn't her fault that she slept through all three of her alarms and got up 45 minutes later than usual, hence why she was wearing such a bland compared to her normally extravagant ones.
Finally arriving at campus, the black haired girl was met with a pouty Wooyoung who kept his arms folded as he tapped his foot impatiently. "It's about fucking time, I even ditched San just to wait for you!" He complained, rolling his eyes in annoyance.
"Sorry bro, I was kinda behind on things today," her rather deep voice spoke as she chuckled at his over exaggerated eye roll.
"Whatever," he huffed, still pretending to be angry at the younger but she knew that he was only joking and trailed behind him with an affectionate grin.
Wooyoung and Athena have been friends since kindergarten and have been inseparable since. They've gone through everything together and they've never once let any of their significant others ruin their friendship. Despite Athena almost never expressing affection physically for the boy, deep down inside she knows that she could never live without his presence.
"What class do we have first again?" Wooyoung's voice questioned, interrupting the latter's thoughts, causing her to look at him with a disappointed expression.
"Really Woo? We're already a month into the semester and you still don't know the timetable?" She questioned, genuinely baffled by how forgetful the male was.
"Oh shush, I only remember important things like birthdays," He shrugged. "Speaking of important things, do you remember Park Seonghwa from our highschool? He's transferring here today!"
"Actually I don't remember him, I barely interacted with anyone in highschool."
"Yeah, and you're still anti social as fuck," Wooyoung laughed slightly, causing Athena to roll her eyes at the boy.
"People are overrated," She shortly explained, tucking a loc behind her ear as she noticed that classes were about to start. "And we better head to our literature class now before that ass of a teacher makes us empty all the dust bins."
"Ugh fine, but if you see a tall, pink haired and loud bitch, just know that's Hwa, okay?"
"Whatever dumbass."
