OPPOSITES.

𝗣𝗔𝗥𝗧 𝗧𝗘𝗡 ?? ☻︎

As the sun rays shone through the windows into her eyes, Athena squinted slightly as she covered her face as an attempt to block the brightness from her eyes, however her attempt was in vain as it failed miserably.

She groaned and held her head, a massive headache had come about and her entire body was aching. She began to recall the events of the previous night and inwardly cringed at the thought. She swore that she would never drink alcohol for as long as she existed on the face of this earth as it made her do stupid things.

Athena began scanning the room she was in and recognized it as Seonghwa's living room and she realized that she had passed out last night and had slept in her dress, which was currently making her feel extremely uncomfortable. All she wanted was to wear her normal baggy clothing.

"You're awake!" A voice rejoiced softly, causing Athena to look up from her lap and was faced with Seonghwa who was holding a glass of water and a box of pills as a soft smile graced his lips.

The black haired woman suddenly felt embarrassed with herself and scratched her neck awkwardly. The said male sensed her embarrassment and chuckled to himself slightly before placing the glass and pills on the coffee table. "You can freshen up if you feel the need to, you can borrow some of my clothes if you want," He offered, his shy smile never leaving his lips.

Athena returned the smile as she got up from the surprisingly comfortable couch. "Thank you for everything Hwa," She said, giving the male a very brief hug that probably lasted one second, and it surprised Seonghwa a little, heck it even surprised herself as she never displayed affection publicly.

She then dashed off to the bathroom, leaving Seonghwa absolutely starstruck with a dumb smile on his face.

He was falling even harder for the girl by the second.

Athena emerged from the bathroom wearing a white baggy shirt and black sweats. She put her hair in a low ponytail for once, and she felt like one of those VSCO girls that were trending on YouTube back in the day.

Anyway, her thought faded way as the scent of delicious food wafted in the air, leading her directly to the kitchen where a certain pink haired male was setting up food on the dining table.

Her jaw dropped as all sorts of Korean cuisines were plated across the table, some she didn't even know the names of. It smelled and looked absolutely amazing, plus it warmed her heart that the male had made food for the two of them.

Seonghwa didn't seem to notice her presence yet so she simply sat at one of the chairs by the kitchen as she drank her medicine, watching him cook silently.

She noticed how much passion the male was putting into the meal. The way he carefully sliced the vegetables, the way he stirred the contents of the black pot carefully was honestly so mesmerizing to the girl. How could one look so attractive and passionate while initiating such a simple task such as cooking?

"Oh my god Athena! You scared me," The male exclaimed, dramatically putting a hand on his chance to express his shock once he noticed the girl sitting in the chair. The said black haired female chuckled as she stood from her seat and glanced over his shoulder.

"How are you so boyfriend material?"

The question caught the pink haired male off guard, his tan cheeks brightening to a light hue of red. Athena seemed to be satisfied with how flustered she made Seonghwa and she laughed out loud, unconsciously wrapping a single arm round his waist as she buried her head into his back.

And just like that, they spent the entire morning feasting on delicious food amd cuddling.

Athena was laying in Seonghwa's arms when she began questioning her relationship with the male. Seriously, what were they? Were they simply friends and all the affection they were displaying was simply a sign of friendliness or was there something more to it?

These thoughts rampaged her mind as her heart rate increased due to how anxious she was feeling. Despite knowing that the topic was necessary for the two discuss as it would determine their relationship status, it still makes her nervous to talk about such a serious topic.

"Uh Hwa? We need to talk," The girl murmured quietly after gaining the courage to start the conversation. Seonghwa's eyes flickered to Athena's figure that was still engulfed in his arms. Her tone was shaky yet somehow stern, which made him wonder what the girl would like to discuss.

"Of course? What is it?"

Athena detached herself from the male's arms and let out a sigh, avoiding eye contact with the male at all costs. "Well, you know that we practically made out last night and had a series of occasions that were intended in a way that were definitely something more than friendly. I just want to know what exactly our relationship is."

The pink male's eyes widened in shock of what the female had said. He didn't think she would bring up the matter this soon, but perhaps it was best that she did.

He smiled gently and held both her hands in his, circling his thumb over her soft and delicate skin. "Athena, Ive liked you for a little while, would you be my girlfriend?"

Athena's mouth fell agape in shock, her cheeks turning pink as she fell silent for a moment. After regaining her courage, the girl grinned and replied, "Of course Hwa, I've liked you for a while too."

He giggled and tucked her hair behind her ear. His brown eyes locked with her hazel ones, the two somehow telepathically communicating their love and admiration for each other simply through eye contact.

Who would've thought that they would end up together?
