FACING THE NEXT DAYS

Police had investigated Troy's accident but they never found any property of him. I tried to be brave.. I tried to smile without him but I don't think I can travel without him. He's been my savior......

I stopped thinking as my mom approached me. "Sam, It's been two weeks that you're not eating, not even having enough sleep. Are you still okay? Won't it affect your health?"

"Don't worry mom. I'm okay, I just miss Troy. The way he cared for me, the way he makes me laugh and the feeling of traveling with him." I answered.

"Okay, I understand. Just promise you'll be fine and will maintain proper health and hygiene okay?" She commanded. "Yes mom."

*searching for mountains*

"Hey sis!" I heared a familiar voice from my back. It was cecil. My little sister, she's still that cute and naugty girl.

"Hey sweetheart!" I welcome her with a hug. "How's the summer vacation?" I asked her.

"It's adora.. adora.. adorable! Babababa, bababanana! Bababa, bababanana!" As always, she sings like a minion.

"I heard what happened to the great troy.. I love you sis. It's okay." She's just a seven-years old girl but knows how to comfort me. Its kinda sweet.

"Can we buy ice cream?" She asked with a puppy face. "Of course baby just let me finish this." I said.

"I want this one! Chocolate! Yummm!" Cecil said cheerfully as we reached the Ice cream station at the mall. We bought it and walk to buy some snacks.

"Cecil, wait." I stopped her as I saw something.

"It was...that."
"Miss? What?" I realized that we entered the traveler's shop and someone was holding a tumbler that is exactly look like my tumbler and troy's."

"Ahh..uhm, nothing."
"Nice tumbler, right? by the way, I'm Marc Glisen, a part time traveler."
"You're a... traveler?"

"Bababa, babanana! Bababa, babanana! He's a traveler too just like you!" Cecil shouted.
"Shhh, quiet, cecil." I forbid her.

"Yes, I'm a traveler. Nice to meet you.. uhm?" Marc continued.

"Sam. Sam Xu. I'm a traveler too."

"Here's my contact card, just call me if you would want to travel with me our with our group." I just nodded and headed to the grocery with cecil.

I woke up from my bed and witnessed the sunrise through my window. I'm not like happy unlike before when I'm watching the sunrise. I remember what troy told me about it..

*flashback*
"You're beautiful baby." Troy said while holding my face. "Just like the sunrise."

"Why sunrise?" I asked.

"Every morning, sunrise was the first beauty which people see. Me, as my eyes opened up, all I'm thinking about is you. And your face is the first beauty I've always witnessed every morning I wake up."

*end of flashback*

I came back to reality and found myself crying while holding the necklace near my heart. This heart-shaped necklace was given to me by troy with some writings on it: "You travel, I travel."

I speak up through my mind while holding the necklace..
Troy, wherever you are, you'll always be near my heart. I'll always keep our memories in my mind. And will always feel your love, even if you're gone. I will love you.. 'til my life is through.
