The first few weeks of school breezed by, and everyone was finally starting to get the hang of things by now. Cheer was going amazing, classes so far were going okay, and Johnny and I couldn't be happier. Anytime we could be together, we were practically attached at the hip. Except the many hours he'd be away at Cobra Kai.

Don't get me wrong, I admired Johnny's commitment and how he was Mr. Kreese's most prized student, but it irked me how every Saturday was eaten away with Johnny at the dojo. However, this gave me the opportunity to hang out with Ali, Barbara, Susan, and Delanie.

This Saturday though, Johnny had proposed the idea to have dinner at the beach house with the guys.

Around 5 I made my way over to the Lawrence's beach house, groceries for dinner in hand. When the boys saw me pull up, they jogged over to my car and helped me get the bags inside.

"Hey, doll." Johnny smirks, giving me a kiss.

"Miss me at practice?" I ask in between kisses.

I almost feel his smile. "Always."

"So what are we makin'?" Tommy asked when we got inside, pulling groceries out of the sacks.

"Chicken parmesan." I smile.

"Yes!" the boys cheer.

"I know that's Johnny's favorite thing of mine to make... Unless he's lying just to make me happy." I say eyeing Johnny, causing everyone to laugh.

"So, what's the special occasion?" Johnny asks, hugging me from behind.

"I dunno, just figured we could celebrate the start of our senior year, and the start to another great Cobra Kai competition season-"

This causes the boys to start cheering, making me laugh. This may have totally made them look like dorks, but I wouldn't trade these dorks in for the world. I admired how devoted they were to their dojo and learnings.

"And of course, Johnny and I..." I begin, as the boys mockingly say 'awww', and playfully shove Johnny.

"He couldn't be a better boyfriend, and I'm happy to have him." I smile up at Johnny, receiving a small peck. "...and you guys, too. Y'all are the greatest friends that a girl could ask for."

The boys come in to give me a group hug, squeezing the air out of me like a balloon, making me go into a giggle fit.

"Alright, alright, don't kill her please." Johnny grins, pulling my body into his arms.

The boys and I get started in the kitchen, and roughly an hour later, we have the most perfect spread of chicken parmesan, garlic bread, and salad laid out on the dining table before us.

"Let's dig in!" Jimmy screams, practically diving head first into his plate.

I sat back and happily listened to the guys talk about Cobra Kai things, occasionally asking them bewildered questions, because to be quite honest, Cobra Kai got kinda dramatic and crazy at times especially with a Rambo and Chuck Norris love-child wannabe running the place.

"Then that wimp came in like a lost puppy, I was like 'This has got to be a prank'!" Dutch hollered, throwing his head back in laughter.

"I knew something was going through your head, Johnny! I saw that smirk on your face." Jimmy cackled.

My laughter begins to die and I look over at Johnny. "What's he talking about, hun?"

"Well, you know that LaRusso kid? Let's just say he stepped into the wrong dojo." he says crossing his arms, now shifting his attention back towards the guys. "You can't tell me Noodle Arms wants to join Cobra Kai." Johnny laughs.
