♡ Your Perspective☆ Male Crush (he/him)
Y/N - Your Name ○ C/N - Crush's Name  ○ B/N - Bestie's Name

It's Valentine's Day and you woke up feeling brave. You are in line at the shop near your school holding a cheesy pink card that says "Bee Mine" with a big fuzzy bumblebee on it. You're about to turn and put it back when you realise you are at the front of the line and the cashier is looking at you. You step forward and hand over the card. "Cash or card?" Next thing you know you are walking out of the shop with your change and receipt in one hand and your cliche valentine in the other. You stop as you near the school and put the card in your bag and try to forget about it.

That is easier said than done. The flimsy card weighs you down all day and your friends notice. At lunch you sit and stare into space. "Hello! Earth to Y/N!" your bestie beside you waves their hand in front of your face. "Hm?" you turn your head towards them. "You have been stuck in your head all day! What's going on in there?" they ask you. You sigh "I bought C/N a valentine before school this morning." "AMAZING." your bestie is supportive as always, "Let me see it!" you pull it out of your bag. "You haven't written it yet? You're in your only class with him next period and it's a double" "I know!" you laugh "I'm scared to!" your bestie laughs too. "Come on I'll help you write it."

You open the card to see a message already printed; "I think you're sweeter than honey!" you roll your eyes and say "Oh my God..." in an exasperated way but your bestie thinks it's sweet. "Come on there's only 10 minutes left of lunch." You write;

Dear C/N

Happy Valentine's Day!

I think you're sweeter than honey!

I really like you and I hope you feel the same way <3

You stop. You're scared to write your name. It's so much easier to tell your crush you like him when you're not actually telling him. But your bestie mistakes your hesitation for completion and grabs the unfinished card and puts it in the envelope they wrote his name on in bubble writing and seals it shut. "Let's go to class now so you can put it on his desk!" they grab your hand and you run after them to class knowing the card is now an anonymous confession, maybe it's better that way? When you walk into class the room is empty, no people yet and no cards on anyone's desks. You feel somehow calmer and more scared at the same time. You reach C/N's desk and turn around scared but your bestie is right there making sure you don't back out. You sigh, turn back, place the card in the centre of his desk and run to your seat laughing with your bestie. "I have to go to my class now. let me know how it goes!" they turn and walk away from the class with a little bounce in their step.

Over the next 20 seconds or so a couple more people enter the class and put their homework and pencil cases on their desks, but not C/N. The bell rings and more people come into class all looking over at C/N's desk as they pass. Your heart races as you look at the door and finally see C/N walk through. He stops momentarily and smiles as he notices the card on his desk a few seats away from you.

He sits down and takes out his homework and other class essentials then picks up the card and smiles. You see his hands start to shake a little as he opens the envelope and tries to grip the card. As he pulls the card out and sees the cheesy slogan and adorable bumblebee you notice the gentle smile stretch into a grin. He opens the card and scans the confession you wrote only minutes earlier. His face falls as he reaches the bottom.

From who?

He looks up with a confused and disappointed look on his face. He turns to his friend next to him to ask if he saw who left the card. "No idea man, it was there when I got here." He looks around the classroom searching for his mystery Valentine. You feel yourself starting to blush so you quickly look down at your homework before he reaches you, pretending to check your answers before you hand it in.
