The tree's light was eternal, forever shining, even in the light of the day. Small orbs of light floated in and out of it every day: lifeforms that go down toward the land, and those that would return to its womb.

Legend says that a princess had met a demon, who gave her the Tree's fruit, with an offer to extend her miserable life, and strengthen her fragile body.

The wish had been granted, and she grew older, birthed children that will soon be the ancestors of Coordinators, cursed beings with the Tree of Life's magic flowing through their blood.

Powerful as they may be, the ordinary people feared their kind and stood against them in a war. In fear for their safety, the Coordinators learned to live in the outskirts of the lands, never to use their power again...

...until a certain barbaric Queen sought for their aid to fight her enemies, sparking terror yet again among the original people.

Thus, it began, the endless war among those whom the Tree had created herself, and those whose blood runs with the Tree's power.
