The Reunion of Childhood Friends

"So what did I miss yesterday?" Daiyu asks Chanmi. She had missed school yesterday due to the stupid marriage proposals her father had forced her to attend.
A year ago she didn't have to worry about these things but her older sister, Liling, just had to elope with her now husband, Minghao, forcing all the responsibilities onto the younger girl. Nakamura Corps, one of the top companies in China, Japan, and Korea, and poor Daiyu was forced to become the heir.
"Not much other than the fact that we have 4 new students, that and because we've all been talking so much the professor split us up and we're sitting by the new students now," Chanmi replies.
"New students huh? School started 3 months ago!"
"Yeah! And their kind of odd too, at least that's what everyone else is saying. I think they're quite interesting," Jae adds.
"I second that!" Kwan nods her head in agreement. The four girls make their way to their class.
"Ah Nakamura, welcome back! I'm assuming the others have already told you about the changes made yesterday? Your seat hasn't changed," Professor Kim chirps.
"Yes I've heard Professor Kim, thank you for letting me know."
The girls take their seats. Shortly after an adorable boy walks in and takes a seat next to Daiyu.
"Hi you must be one of the new students from yesterday! Sorry I wasn't here yesterday to meet you but anyways I'm Nakamura Daiyu! It's nice to meet you!" Daiyu smiles at the boy.
"I'm Huang Renjun! It's nice to meet you too," the boy, Renjun, responds softly.
Renjun notices the photo in Daiyu's phone case causing him to gasp softly.
"Dai Dai," he whispers. The girls ears perk up upon hearing this.
"Junnie?" She asks.
"So it really is you," he smiles brightly at the girl, eyes sparkling.
"I missed you so much, you have no idea! I thought you were dead!"
"Sorry, I didn't want to disappear like that but I had no choice and then some things happened and I had to go away for a little bit."
"I'm not mad at you or anything Renjun, after all we were just kids."
Before the two can say any more, the bell rings, signaling the start of class.
"We'll have to talk more after class and catch up," Daiyu whispers. Renjun nods in agreement smiling at the girl.
Story Unlocked: Daiyu and Renjun were childhood friends when they were back in China. Renjun is the heir to the Huang Company, or at least he was until ??? happened. Who knows maybe he's still the heir to the company. Daiyu was the one who gave Renjun the nickname 'Junnie'. When the two were children, one day Renjun's family just up and disappeared, leaving little Daiyu confused and heartbroken.
