Money.

The only thing Izuku DIDN'T have.

Also known as the man who threatened to kill him if he didn't get any of it.

He had no clue how much he'd get, nor when he'd get it. He lied for his own sake, along with the people who knew him.

It just saved some time.

...

"Hey..!" Katsuki said as he began to run towards the greenette who had just walked through the front doors after days of absence, "How're you feeling?"

Izuku plastered a smile before walking beside Katsuki, holding the grin throughout his words, "I've just been sick from that night, do you not remember?"

Bakugo rolled his eyes. "A hangover doesn't last for nearly a week, dude. What's up with you lately, huh?"

Deku shook his head before walking into his studio. "Nothing, just let me record some stuff, alright?"

"Fine, whatever."

Izuku nodded before walking into the recording area of the room. He closed the door, put on the headphones, and took a long second to settle down and get a hold of himself.

Bakugo sat down and looked up at him with a small grin, putting on his headphones.

...

"That's good for today," Katsuki says, watching the male leave the small area and meet eyes directly. "You feelin' alright?" Katsuki questions.

Deku shrugged. "I'm just a little tired."

"...Okay."

They both left the room and walked toward the main room, looking for Shoto to let him know what was up with where he was with recording.

Suddenly, he poked out from the corner, directly into the two men. "Oh, Midoriya, Katsuki... I've been waiting for you guys."

Izuku looked at him with an apologetic smile. "We were supposed to release your song today, yet I'm afraid we'll have to postpone it..."

Izuku sighed. He had just finished recording it as well. This was a complete disappointment.

"I know, I know. I'm sorry, but Uraraka has finished her song and I need to get it out there!" He gazed at the both of them before hearing a girl behind him.

"Sir?"

He turned to face Uraraka. "I think I'm ready now, is this the right time?"

Shoto nodded, "Yes, just one moment."

He turned back to Bakugo and Izuku, "We can get yours out next Friday, that's the earliest I can go."

Izuku sadly nodded and watched Shoto and Uraraka went off to go into his office. Izuku turned around to face Katsuki.

"I'm sorry," Katsuki said.

"It's not you're fault, it's just fucking stupid."

"Oh?"

...

-Hours later-

Izuku makes his way up to his apartment, Katsuki being by his side, ready to go in and play some games with Midoriya.

He unlocked the door and they both made their way into the place.

It was cold, bitterly freezing.

Izuku raised an eyebrow, it was nearly July? He went over to the thermostat and gazed up at the numbers.

His heart instantly dropped, he then turned it off.

All he could do was a curse to himself about the mishap. Katsuki rolled his eyes and sat down on the couch before patting Deku over to him.

Izuku turned the console on and grabbed two controllers before handing one to Katsuki with nearly no expression.

Bakugo lied back before grabbing a blanket and throwing it over the both of them. Izuku softened his expression and stared at the loading screen.

"Look, I get it," Katsuki sighed. "You had a rough day, but I can always make it better when it comes to the end."
