'Why would the elders be here.....my pack has done nothing wrong and they only show them selves when a pack has broken the law...' I thought to myself as I looked one last time at jacob before heading down stairs to figure out the situation.
When I got down stairs I was greeted by some very very unhappy faces "to what do I owe for this visit from the elders?" " we heard you have a rouge living on your land and you know the rules about rouges, you know why you cant let something that got kicked out of its own pack anywhere near yours...... unless you truly do not care for the well being and lives of your pack." " how dare you come in to my house and try to tell me I don't care for my pack! Also he is not a rouge, he was not kicked out his pack DIED okay they fucking died so yea I took him in and im glad I did because im pretty fucking sure that boy is my mate and if ANY of you imbeciles try to hurt him I will kill you I don't care how it makes me look. You. Will. Be. Dead. if. You. Touch. Him. Got that?" They agreed and actually accepted the situation usually they just accuse people of lying and try to take their alpha status away. "may we seem the rou-... wolf... please?" 'WHAT NO! HELL NO!!!' my wolf said in my head but Jason took it upon himself to say ofcourse and went to get jacob. I growled as he walked by me.
A few minutes of hearing squeals they walked down......well jason walked down while jacob was hung over his shoulder trying to escape. If I wasn't so pissed off at the moment I would laugh at how cute this scene is. "jacob please calm down okay I wont let them hurt you and neither will jason. No one will hurt you okay I promise." Jason set him down and he smiled at me said a small thanks and clung to my arm while looking at the elders. " so your name is jacob?" one of them asked him and he just clung on tighter and gave a small nod. One of the other men who had not been paying to much attention to the scene in front of him stood up a little too quickly for my taste. He walked infront of the other elders and looked directly at jacob his eyes went wide and he was muttering something inaudible even to me.
"What's your full name boy?" jacob let me go enough that he wasn't clinging to me but was still holding my arm when answered "i-I don't really k-know I don't r-remember much of my life I just know it was scary before I met d-damon..." I couldn't take this so I butted in " why do you care what his name is? Why is it any of your concern?" "because he looks like my nephew who I havent seen in about three years bc im an elder im not with my pack much they died a few months ago. It was tragic but I had to identify all the bodies the only one not accounted for was my nephew Jacob moon..." 'is that possible...could our mate be related to an elder?' my wolf questioned to me. I could tell that jacob was getting too freaked out, that this was too much information at once. "well im am truly sorry for your loss he is having a hard time right now and if his memories come back and he is your nephew I will personally call you until then all of you please get off my land and don't come back unless you have a real reason to bother me and my pack!" with that they left jason went to find the rest of the pack and I took jacob to my room so we could sleep its been a long day.
It didn't surprise me that the second we got in my bed he instantly fell asleep. The next morning I woke up and Jacob was half off the bed, I laughed then pulled him back up which sorta woke him up. "morning sunshine" "mornishiba....." Jacob said back before trying to go back to bed. I looked at the clock and noticed its still pretty early and based on how he said morning I let him sleep in a bit while I went to see if everything is still okay with my pack.
as i walked down stairs i noticed a thumping noise so i go to investigate it. I head outside towards the noise only to see jason and someone fighting like full blown fighting. "HEY WHAT THE HELL Is HAPPENING HERE?" i yelled towards them jason swag one last hard as fuck swing and looked at me " yea whats up dude?" " oh nothing much jason just wondering what the fuck you and that guy are doing " he looked worried when i said that then replied with "well i was going for a morning run and this guy walked up and asked for our new lil wolfi asked why and he said i could answer or he'd beat it out of me and now we're here so i think i took care of it for the most part and now im thinking we question him down in the lock up rooms." " good bring him in NOW! i wanna know everything he knows." now im pissed what does this guy want with MY MATE.
As i head with jason to interigate this man i hear jacob whine and gasp so i tell jason to go on without me and if i dont show up in ten then start without me and let me know what happens and what the man knows. i run back upstairs to my room to see my little mate flailing around in the covers asleep and clearly having a night mare so i lay next to him and slowly and cautiously move him to my lap craddling him in my grasp. he settles his breathe and seems at peace again i kiss his forhead then something weird happens im no longer in my room im in a meadow. next to a giant tree with beautiful blossoms on in and under the tree i see my handsome mate. it seems so real i start to walk towards him but as i get a few steps away i can no longer seem to go any further. all of a sudden i hear someone yell his name, its a girl she runs over to him and sits down beside him and they start talking. " hey jakey boo hows it going on the light side of the world for you lately." she says "its okay i guess but i wish i could see you more youre the only person in the world who understands me Hope i wish we lived in a world where you and i dont have to meet out by the lands of the damned. i wish you could come hang out at the pack house or i could come hang out in your land but we dont live in that kind of world we live in a world of hatred and its so messed up." jacob says in return as he leans into her i cant help but wonder if this is a memory of a past girlfriend until i hear her reply.
" listen my little wolf one day i will make this world exactly how you want it werewolves and vampires together in peace and you can finally prove your family and all those bullies wrong. youll be able to tell them how you not only know the hyrbid is real, but that youve become one of the most important people in my life. you and i both know that even though im a born werewolf i will never be acepted by the packs because i am also a born vampire. you may accept me but not everyone will and those who wont will never stop fighting to make sure i am captured and locked away for the rest of eternity. i also know that somewhere out there is your mate and they will love you unconditionally as i do. you must promise me something though." "anything you know id do anything for you hope youre my best friend, my family." "as you are to me little wolf. i need you to promise me that when you find that glorious mate of yours, whether they accept me or not you will not hold that against them, ever. do not let my bloodline stop you from having your soul mate by your side forever...." jacob started crying and hugs the girl known as hope tightly. " i promise, i promise but i will never abandon you hope. i will never leave you in the dark ever."
Next thing i know it all goes dark and im back in my room with jacob sitting in my lap face inches from mine. "i dont know how i remembered that but i dont think you were supposed to see it but now that you have you do know when she finds me i will side with her even if it means you being mad at me for awhile i will love you but i will NEVER EVER break my promise to her. she may be part vampire but shes the only real person ive ever known." i stare in utter shock at that and what i say next puts the same look on his face. " as long as you trust her she is welcome in my home vampire or not i trust my mates instincts. so if you want her to stay with us whenever she shows up then so be it."
