The plane ride was exhausting, so Erin decided to get some sleep as they flew over the vast ocean below. It didn't take her long before she feel into a deep sleep. She dreamed of what this place would be like. She had heard so much of the stories about Alan Grant's personal experience on these islands. Her dream was interrupted by a gentle shake and a familiar voice calling her name.

"Erin! Erin, wake up."

Faintly, Erin stirred awake at the sound of the professor's voice. She blinked and sat up, looking around at her surroundings.

"We're almost there."

Almost where? She thought, still having no clue as to where they were heading.
After landing the crew loaded up the trucks with the gear and equipment, the team headed out and rode through the tall mountains. After hours of trucking uphill through thick forest and woods, things began to clear up as the surrounding jungle became thinner.

Soon two double tall metal doors came into view. They towered over the passing vehicles as they passed through.

Beyond the gates the scenery was completely different from the outside. On the other side of the gates was a small city with smooth paved roads and many shops and stores on either sides of the streets. There were even tall wide buildings. The driver drove the crew through the streets and at the end the driver took a winding road which led to the tallest building in the area at the top of the hill. As the vehicle approached the tall building, Erin noticed near the entrance there was a sign that read "Warning-" but the rest was unreadable through the multiple claw marks in the sign. Birds chirped and cawed while other strange sounds and sights drew in Erin's attention. She looked around in complete awe and looked over to see her colleague just as surprised by the place as she was. The team was led into the building. Inside the lobby was huge and vast with many other people walking around in uniforms. They rode in an elevator up to the fifth floor.

On the fifth floor, Dr. Bradley and Erin were greeted by a mixed group of people. There were some people in lab coats, some in casual clothes, and others in camouflage uniforms with weapons in their grasp.

"Dr. Gideon Bradley." greeted a woman with long dark brown hair. "It's an honor to welcome you to Jurassic World."

She looked about in her mid 30's and wore dark blue jeans and a navy blue shirt under a jacket. The bandanna around her neck matched the color of her bright blue eyes. She also wore hiking boots.

"I hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and took the liberty of assigning you and your assistant with a few of my own team members."

Dr. Gideon looked down at Erin and raised an eyebrow in suspicion as to who these people would be joining them in their expedition.

"Just during your stay here on Jurassic Island of course." She added.

She then escorted them to the elevator, down to the lobby and out of the building. Once outside in the bright day, there was a jeep already waiting for them at the bottom of the front steps with a driver. She and the others jumped into the vehicle and drove down a dirt road through the woods.
