At about 8:30 in the morning, the second eldest Hallow woke from her slumber in her bedroom, to the smell of pancakes wafting through the house. Getting out of bed she quickly got dressed in a purple dress and black flats, putting her hair in a braided ponytail, she went downstairs to breakfast. Once she was finished with breakfast she brushed her teeth and grabbed her black travel cloak. Selena decided to change into her uniform at school when she arrives. Calling Ethel, the two witches grabbed their brooms from the shed and they were off to Cackle's academy for witches. On their way they spotted a girl with pigtails walking up to the castle of Cackle's, the girls hovered down and Selena asked trying not to sound rude" Hello, do you mind telling us where it is you're going?" The girl in pigtails said " Hi. I'm going to Cackle's academy for witches. I'm Mildred Hubble by the way. " Selena said " Not to sound rude or anything but you don't sound like a witch, besides you aren't even wearing a traditional travel cloak." Ethel agreed with her older sister, scoffed and said" We are not going to tell you our names besides we're already running late. Come on Selena, let's leave." The two Hallow sisters got on their brooms and back into the sky, flying to the academy. Ethel landed stumbling a little while Selena landed perfectly. The two girls walked up to the teachers and greeted them saying "Well met miss Cackle, miss Hardbroom." The teachers both greeted them smiling. Miss Cackle because she could finally meet Ethel Hallow and she was happy to see her star student Selena. Miss Hardbroom smiled because Selena was her best student and because Selena made headgirl of year one the previous year...
